Hey guys I was just wondering what were the most valuable and rarest N64 games.

I know like the Mario Parties are all valuable, but like what other games are worth a good amount?

Starcraft and Harvest Moon have always been expensive when I've found them. I'd say Command and Conquer would count too.

Orge Battle 64 is also hard to come by as well.

Harvest Moon is probably the No.1 stunner on that system. Whenever I found one of those and then sold it, I always got some good $$$. With some of the other "so called" valuable games, I've come up short. So I would probably put Harvest Moon at No.1.

Harvest Moon I'd say

What about like Mario Kart, the Zelda games, and Super Smash Brother. Are those worth anything?

They're desirable, so they fetch $10-$15, but they're not rare.

How about Micro Machines 64 Turbo? I found one at a local game swap store the other day... only one I've ever seen in the wild.

Ogre Battle 64 and Harevst Moon seem to be the Chrono Trigger & Final Fantasy III's of the N64. Always in demand, always demand a good price (in retail stores & eBay).

It seems as though some of the responses are about prices instead of rarity.

The Mario Party games can get you $10-25 depending on which one and where you go. I know some people have sold them as a bundle (MP 1-3) and got $40, so that's a decent run. Personally I think you're better off hitting pawn shops and thrift stores, you might get well under $10. These games aren't rare though. Most of the Mario titles aren't rare on the system, just generally worth more.

Harvest Moon, Starcraft64, Worms Armageddon, Orge Battle 64, and Micro Machines 64 Turbo are pretty nice. For the most part they are more expensive than most other titles on the N64 and are rough to come by in the wild, unless you're fumbling a huge bin of games (Then I'm sure you'll see at least 1 of them).

Zelda isn't worth much more than $10 around here and are no where near rare (Either one of the titles). I can pick them up for about $3-15 depending on locations I go to.

I picked up the Tom & Jerry game the other day for $5 and kinda wish I didn't trade it into another store to get a discount on Eternal Darkness, rather just buy the total price out of pocket. I just looked it up and the complete is $20, but isn't too rare. It seems to be a pretty solid game though from the info I saw on other sites. Oh well.

Some games that are worth getting:
Conker's Bad Fur Day, Paper Mario, Super Mario 64, Bomber Man 64, Bust-A-Move '99, Quake II, Rampage 2 - Universal Tour, Gauntlet Legends, Mario Party, Command & Conquer, Dr. Mario 64, any of the Cruisin' games, and Get Force Gemini (It's really cheap and not rare, but is a fun game to play).
Most of the games you can generally find too, but are decently priced.

The rarest complete game I have found to be is Clayfighter 63 1/3 Sculptors Cut.

I just thought of another one... one of the last games to be released on N64... if not THE last game.

Super Bowling.

Saw it once... probably should've bought it... except that I'm not too fond of bowling games, so I talked myself out of it.

Does it usually go for this much when it's complete?

Clayfighter 63 1/3 Sculptors Cut is the hardest to find complete.

The hardest import to find (from my experience) is Doubutsu no Mori (Animal Forest).

I just thought of another one... one of the last games to be released on N64... if not THE last game.

Super Bowling.

It was certainly a late release, but at least three games came after it... Madden 2002, Power Puff Gilrs, and the final game, Tony Hawk 3.

International Superstar Soccer 2000 is one of the rarest games but not the most expensive.

I went a ahead and did the scarcity of N64 >=5, which turns out U.S. releases on the guide are a top of 5.

ClayFighter 63 1/3 Sculptor's Cut
Cruis'n Exotica
Donald Duck Goin' Quackers
Duck Dodgers
Earthworm Jim 3D
Elmo's Letter Adventure
Elmo's Number Journey
International Superstar Soccer 2000
International Track & Field 2000
NFL Blitz 2001
NFL Blitz Special Edition
Nuclear Strike 64
Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber
Razor Freestyle Scooter
Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth Electro
Stunt Racer 64
Worms Armageddon

It's somewhat creepy that I've seen nearly all of those on shelves in the past few months. That Razor Freestyle Scooter game, if it's anything like the PS1 version then it blows. Stay away from it!

I always thought that the NFL Blitz Special Edition was the rarest game to find complete. I lucked out and found a factory sealed one (with horizonal line). It was a blockbuster rental only game.

I personally beleive the 2 hardest games to find (complete) are:

International Soccer Superstar 2000
Clayfighters 63 1/3 Sculpter's Cut

hands down

Is it me or is Ogre Battle rare for every console?

A complete clayfighter 63 1/3 sculptors cut is very rare complete, as it was ONLY a rental title. I have the rarest games for the N64 as they were my first goal. Now, I'm just knocking them off one-by-one.

Some games that are worth getting:
Conker's Bad Fur Day...

If anyone is interested in CBFD - a local Toys R Us had mint sealed copies for $9.99 Cdn (not sure what that is in American). I'm not sure if this is a chain-wide thing or just a local store getting rid of old stock, but I was glad to get a copy :)

I was lucky enough to pick up harvest moon complete in EB games like 4-5 years ago. It was brand new for $20, however it was their last copy so it was gutted. Good news though because I was still able to play and enjoy it. I am still after ogrebattle though...

There was a time when I had a complete ISS 2000... Lucked into it at a video game rental shop for $3. Ended up selling it to our very own jdchess for $62-something. It's kinda funny now that I think about it...I was only expecting $30-ish for it, though I figured it might get a little more.

I've seen a good many R5's and up at local game stores; specifically the Rhino (it's a Southeastern US-only franchise) that's a short walk from my house. The only thing is that most of the N64 games are priced quite a bit more than they're actually worth ($30 for Mario Party 3, $35 for Ms. Pac-Man: Maze Madness, etc.)...
