I know there are alot of gamers on Youtube that are getting sick of coming across Final Fantasy FMV music videos and anime music vids when they want to see some ACTION, so since I recently got the camcorder back, I thought I'd spread some PC Engine goodness, since that's hardly been done. Oh sure, it has, but it's been in the form of retro commercials, and capturing game intros. Excuse the quality of these vids, since my capture device won't support old school consoles.

No offense (playing on real systems is cool), but I'm afraid I'd get seasick from all the bouncing ;) What about using FRAPS and a video capture card (or even, dare I say it, an emulator + FRAPS)?

My capture device won't detect video signals from old school systems.

It can only capture off TV shows and PS2 and XBox.

The camcorder was on a tripod the whole time. It wasn't really stable. I never used tape. For the camcorder was hooked to the VCR to PC adapter and it would catch its surroundings anyway even when I wasn't recording anything.

The real problem is, when the camcorder sits there idle, it tends to shut off on its own after a period of time. I press a button on the camcorder just like moving the mouse around to prevent the screen saver from interrupting everything.

I really can't afford more advanced capture equipment. other than that, emulators are out of the picture as far as I'm concerned. :P
