PS3...?

Ok, now unless my eyes are playing tricks on me or someone drugged me im about 100% sure I was reading a European Website and it had something about a PS3 being released in Europe....I dunno if it is a hoax or not but then a fellow employee today mentioned it to me and i started to wonder....can anyone shed some light on the situation???

it'd have to be a hoax. IF Sony was dumb enough to rush it that much, EVERY other system that's coming in 2006 or so would be completely 100% superior (which they probably will be anyway from a hardware standpoint). But even Sony wouldn't push for the PS3 while their installed user base for PS2 is at it's peak (which it is now). It's way too soon..there's TONS more money to be made off the PS2 before they retire it.

These "PS3" rumors were probaly started by some 40 year old who has WAY too much time on his hands.
