Has anyone tried Heart of the Alien Redux (http://hota.sourceforge.net/)?
It allows you to run Heart of the Alien on "all modern consoles and computer platforms." (although only the PC version and GP32 have binaries).

Pretty neat project, but it's a shame the game (imo) wasn't very good. Maybe it was because I wasn't happy with how they ended the story or maybe it was because I was less forgiving of the gameplay flaws by the time I played it, but it really left me with a sour taste in my mouth.
I wonder if they used the source code of RAW to help get the project off the ground.
A different team was behind it, so that probably had a lot to do with it.

It seems like Eric has been recycling that excuse, though :(

Neat trick, but Gens runs pretty much everywhere these days, doesn't it?

There's also a Dreamcast port of HOTA. I haven't had a chance to test it yet and I haven't even read any comments about how well it works (probably nobody in the Dreamcast homebrew scene even has the Heart of The Alien game to test it with).
This actually marks the second Sega CD game playable on a Dreamcast since the Sega CD version of Monkey Island works with SCUMMVM-DC.
