:o That I would love to see. LOL How about we come up with some fake codes and circulate them around saying "You heard it from board X and are posting it in board Y" With luck maybe the fake code would end up in a few gaming magazines.

It seems that Nintendo (especially GC) is dying a slow death. The PS2 and Xbox are both beating the pants off Nintendo sales-wise. I'm not by any means saying Nintendo won't be around, but maybe they will just produce games? They seem to be falling much like Sega did, from what I hear.

Even if they GC winds up failing (which I doubt, there are always people who will buy Nintendo games and systems no matter what) it would be stupid for Nintendo to leave the handheld market. Why would they? They are the only ones to have a handheld to last the test of time, they sell lots of systems and games, keep introducing new colors and system variations, and those still sell, and own 100% of the handheld market.

You are 100% correct about that!! They rule the handheld market!! I was speaking of consoles, sorry!! I don't know how much longer they can compete home console-wise, as the "other" big boys are stealing their milk money. Handheld, they are the kings for sure, and probably will remain king.

The Gamecube and Xbox run circles around the PS2 but 40 million people could care less. There happy with subpar graphics and games. The developers make more money if more people buy there software, it's finacially smarter for them to make a game for a console that has a 40 million user base than one with 10 or 6 million. I feel they are lowering the standard for game industry by choosing this but, it's the only choice they have. To call the PS2 a "Next Gen" system is honestly an insult to Next Gen Systems.

I have all 3 systems and as a seller I've had the same game for all systems (like Spider-Man). And I can truthfully say that the PS2 is a Next-Gen system. The games may look a little better on the gamecube and xbox but that might be stretching it. And if a game is made for the ps2 and then quick-ported to th Cube and Box sometimes it looks better on the Ps2 and or plays faster ( better frame rate) . And considering how much earlier the PS2 came out , I would say that's stinkin Awesome. Don't get me wrong I'm no PS2 Fanboy ( I personally prefer the Cube). Just telling you what I've seen.
