CD-i = PSP for lefties. I hated it just because of that.

Makes sense I guess. Philips and Sony jointly developed the CD format, so it is probably part of the agreement that Sony were allowed to create hardware for the Cd-I in much the same way that Panasonic were allowed to develop their own GameCube console
