About 2 years ago I purchased a GAR from Baloon Fight over at DP. It didn't work very well. So I shipped it off to Kevin Horton for repair.
4 months later, I purchased another one and have been using it since.
A few months later, Kevin finally got around to look at it! Not only did he recondition it (verified the connectors and traces) but he's also done the following:
- reflashed the cart with a good image
- installed a new battery holder
- installed a new battery
The GAR works PERFECTLY every single time! Because it has a new battery, it's good for 20+ years! And best of all, its "certified" by the main man himself! Kevin Horton (from CopyNES fame!)
Alas, I don't need 2 GAR's.. so I've decided to sell it.
I'm looking to get around 150$US OBO for it. (including tracking/insurance/shipping).
