Bought some PS2 games. 2 of them came in shrinkwrap. Not the carefully-folded & formed plastic bag that I'm used to seeing.

Do some manufacturers publish PS2 games in shrinkwrap?

Yes, i bought some PS2 games and they were sealed. I still have a sealed game i havnt opened. Im not sure if all games have shrinkwrap tho. Most games also have that white sticker seal so you should be able to see if the game has been opened or not.

I think hes talking about the type of plastic used to seal it.

I have seen several Gamecube games come with that generic shrinkwrap but I do not recall ever seeing a PS2 game that way. If it was a game that was released real cheap I could see it being sealed that way.

I've seen the cheezy shrinkwrap on many new titles- it's not often though.

What are the games that you got in the cheap wrap?

I know off hand that GTA:San Andreas's first shipment had many copies come to my store in the cheap wrap.

Speaking from experience, they may also be the Canadian versions that often are extra-wrapped (not re-wrapped, as they are not opened) with a french manual and/or bilingual cover over the english one.

There are some that come in the shrink wrap... It doesn't look like its some sort of uniformity or company specific thing, but its not something that happens a ton either.

Xbox is alot worse with the shrink than the PS2 is without a doubt.

Oh no! How are we going to accuse people of selling re-seals in the future if we aren't sure how these things are being sealed today?

I opened them.

1 looked brand-new.

The 2nd one had physical damage & a sticky square where the pricetag used to be. A RESEAL. The seller agreed to give a refund.

Is it that easy to get around the white sticker seal?

I usually go by the security seals not the wrapping.

Me too. Sense that someone is defending re-sealers 'cause he thinks it's okay to reseal/defraud the collectors.

Those white sticker seals are being phased out-- many new releases don't have them.

Your spider senses would be wrong.

BTW, a lot of the newer games don't come w/ security seals anymore.

No. But if you open them you can tell they were previously used.

Got some more games that --when I removed the shrinkwrap-- discovered cases were heavily scratched, manuals torn, and discs showed abrasion. The title called "Narnia" was supposed to include a free movie pass. It's torn out!

Previously used & rewrapped. Of course the sellers deny it. We caught vidiots. Now only 10,000 more fake resealers to go.... LOL
> I think you got the games cheap. EB games, gamestop and sometimes even Best Buy is opening their games and putting in a door alarm and then resealing them themselves.

As for the movie ticket, how do I know if the movie maker didn't stop putting the ticket in after the movie was pulled from the theaters? I don't, neither do you. Quit crying over spilled milk and please don't ever buy from me again. I can't stand all the waste of my time that you live for.

My response - Well as I said, this is NOT a new game that has been resealed.

This is a DAMAGED game that has been resealed.

So it doesn't even match the "new" description you used.

Go ahead and pretend that you don't care. I will contact any & all authorities I have to in order to get my money back. Paypal. Discover Card. U.S. Postal Inspector. The Internet Crime Center. You might want to consider that another seller --viddiots-- who sold re-sealed games has now been ARRESTED by the New Jersey police. Do you wish to share the same fate?

Advertising DAMAGED games, as new, is FRAUD.
