On your Gamertag for the 360, what Gamer Zone are you in? I was just wondering about the breakdown of DP users since, while I kind of identify as Recreation I would expect a lot of folks here would be Professional. Any Family? We shall see.

Not really. When hosting a game, you can restrict it to members of the same zone, but I doubt many people actually do that. I never have. Mainly, I thought it would be interesting to see which group DPers identify themselves with.

It matters a little...I think it has an effect on which strangers you get matched with online, though I'm not sure how much or how well this is implemented.
As for me, I'm in recreation. I play games to have fun...taking them too seriously has never been enjoyable for me at all.

Wow, look at my gamertag in my sig, the last five games I have played have been XBLA games. And when I get home, I bet I will play Bankshot Billiards or AstroPop before I put in a retail game!

Recreation.. I don't play much live but Far Cry is a blast online. I've yet to use my 12 month code I bought however.

Oh im underground BTW.
I just like to school the noobies and make fun of them for it. I tend not to get serious in an online game. Last one I was serious in was Halo 2 and before that was Halo 1 on xbox connect. Otherwise I just like to school that noobs and make them cry.
Of course im not always like this...just when a games starts off and they person is like " are you ready to get pwnedddddddd"
other wise i would consider myself a rec player

Pro all the way.
The people play a good game, yet they're (for the most part) still mature if they lose.
I've only ran into 1 annoying, trash-talking 11-year old, thus far.

Recreation as well. Mostly because I'll really only play just for fun, I don't care if I win or lose. Secondly, I don't have the time to be too serious with my online gaming (hell, I haven't even actually played any online games yet!)
My 360 will most likely be on Live this summer. Depends on whether I REALLY want to dive back into FFXI all over again. We run a bike shop, and summer is busy as hell, so time is limited.
I aspire to be a recreational gamer, strictly MMORPGs and racers. I've already spent my years as a profe$$ional gamer LOL .
