Anyone else pick up this for the DS?

At a mere $19.99, I found it to be quite a deal.

Very simple yet very addicting.

I actually do plan on playing this often lol. What do you guys feel about it?

I bought it at walmart the 1st day it was out. I've been enjoying it. Nice 15 min break during the day. You unlock training exercises each day. Look out frontal lobes your days of slacking off are over. lol

LOL

I picked this up yesterday as well. Not an epic game that you'll sit down and play for hours on end, but that wasn't what it was designed to be. This is the essence of portable gaming - quick bursts of fun playing.

I just picked this up lastnight and it's one of the few games that really uses the DS well. The only problem I had was it wouldn't understand what I wrote. I would write 3, it would see 7 and half the time it didn't notice when i wrote 1.

It doesn't like my 4's but I LOVE how well holding the DS sideways works. The should have a LOT more games like that, MUCH more comfortable.

A lote of caps in that sentance eh?

I agree it almost seems more natural to hold the DS on its side like a book.
I enjoyed the game for the 30 min I got to play, then made the mistake of handing it off to my girlfriend. She says she'll give it back when she finishes all the Sudoku puzzles.

I didn't like it. Calling it a 'game' is a bit of a stretch.

And no, I don't like Sudoku either.

I picked it up this evening and it's pretty nifty to play. Though I probably shouldn't have played it after a stressful day at work... I scored the highest age possible! LOL

I do plan on using this a lot though... my brain has felt a bit fuzzy lately...

I do believe this is next on my buying list. Who said games turned your brain into goo?

I just picked this up today and Im having great fun with it, I really look forward to playing it every day.

The whole game is well presented, I like the simple interface and the semi-personalization as well.

Ill probably buy the second one next month.

I really enjoy it. Took to my parents' house this weekend and they are now interested in buying a DS.

I have 5 days training under my belt, a brain age of 35 and am embarassed by getting confused by 7x7.

If I went back in time and told myself I would be playing a game where I did basic math and read classic lit. I would have given up on gaming.

This is fun, and good for ya.

Got this last Monday... looks like Gamestop sold it to me early :) I been training everyday, started with a brain age of 68 and have worked my way down to 27 (My actual age plus one) last night. Finished all the easy Sudoku puzzles and started on the intermediate set. I haven't missed a day yet and I don't intend to for quite some time. I'm having a problem with the Calculations training also... I am horrible at multiplication of 8's. 8 X (6 or 7) specificly.

I also had problems with the input of some numbers (4,5 and 9) the first few days I trained. However, I've found that if you input the number in one stroke Brain Age seems to pick up on your meaning easier.

picked it up on thursday and had a lot of fun, I managed to hook my cousin on it as well so I have someone to compare scores to.

now the inevitable question anyone care to share their progress via this thread?

here's mine...
started with a 59 on the first day and I'm currently down to a 29.

and yeah sometimes voice rec is a little weird.

Been having much more fun with this game than I anticipated. I had never tried sudoku before (watched the wife finish many puzzles, but never attempted one myself) but I have to say I am enjoying them on the DS. Granted I'm still only on the Basic puzzles, but they are a good time. Going to keep up with my daily brain training, but I am still quite a way away from that golden 20 year old brain.

For $19.99 it's a great title to add to the collection.
