PAL version of Mega Man 2 had 2 covers. I think the german version is the coolest. Mega Man 1 USA cover is probly one of the worse covers for NES ever made.

Not all of it. Ghosts n goblins cover art is one of my favorites.. some of the early capcom art is good... some is horrible.

I actually quite prefer the PAL covers on the MM series...

and yeah, it really is amazing that MM1 got released with that as the box art. It is just so incredibly amateurish on so many levels.

I can deal with the background. But the figure in the foreground is one of the worst professional renderings I've ever seen. His right wrist would have to be broken to be at that angle. No human being could balance that pose. He should be flat on his back or flat on his face. The musclature is so simplified it looks like a 5 year old drew it. ETC ETC God it's painful LOL

I still get a good smile from the "Captain Commando" early Capcom posters, god that art was just off.....almost Picasso like but not meant to be LOL

Wow, megaman looks like he is preparing to recieve some Hot Rear Action or HRA for short.
