Aww, nobody's nominated Karnov yet? I will then. C'mon guys, this game was pretty sweet in 1988 or whenever it came out, and it has a cult following and such an interesting DIFFERENT protagonist. Funny how the cover showed Karnov as a muscular fit man, but the in game sprite he was bulky with none of the muscles, hehe.

The cover art was one of the best on the NES (hey that rhymes)

Gameplay was solid too, and easy to just turn on and have at it for 15 minutes, or an hour.

I kinda disagree. I hear what you're saying, all six Mega Mans are basically the same game, but if you count them as "one" then when it comes time to rank them the results would be skewed. Let's say if they were all part of the top 100 that are nominated Mega Man 3 is my 6th favorite while Mega Man 5 is number 80. But now that they have been combined where do I put them? I (like most I imagine) would probably put them closer to where I personally ranked the highest installment. So you end up having a "drop the lowest score" type thing going on. Which in my opinion would have Mega Man, Castlevania, Dragon Warrior, etc... ending up higher on the list then they would have, thus skewing the results.

Oh, and are the Tetris's that different from each other? I didn't realize that was the case.

I decided on individual games because grouping them stereotypes them. Not all the games in a series are worthy in some cases.

I agree with you. Lumping them together allows bad games onto the list...then whats the point?

Yah, plus, this is the best GAMES of all-time forthe NES, not series. Never understood the rationale behind lumping series together under a top games list.

Besides, it's funner with individual titles.

How about we each choose our top 10 (in no order) from the list. We message our votes to you.
The voting goes for 10 days or until every game gets at least 1 vote...whatever is longer. Don’t disclose any tally results until after voting has ended...that should help prevent sympathy voting. "SMB deserves to be better than #100 so I'll give it one of my votes"
Just a suggestion...Let us know what you want to do.

As I wasn't really getting any further responses, I decided to just leave it the way it is.

After all, it's not important, at least to me, just where a game falls in, just that I got suggestions for the 100 best.
