The last time I updated my collection pictures was the day the RoD Database was installed, so I thought it was time for an update ;)

A lot has changed and I'm still not sure how I fit all of this stuff in the room...but yet I still have some room to grow.

Anyway, the bulk of the pictures can be found here:

Here are some of the highlights...

My 32" Samsung LCD HDTV and Systems (minus a JPN Saturn that I am currently looking for):

Nice drexel, very nice. I love how clean it is, that is one of the things I value most in game rooms. The shelves seem to work perfect too.

Nice DS games, it looks as though you are just about up to date with the releases.

I have to ask, where did you got the glass case? I know once I am out of college and settled in with whatever I am doing that I'm going to need one. While I'm at it, where did you get the shelves?

And how do you play the Vectrex?!

It's always nice to see something of mine in someone's room of doom (I sold you that Point Blank 3 didn't i?)

Very nice and organized. The less clutter the better.

I second the notion that it looks very clean. That's the way I like it as well. Looks good, but I don't like your couch...but don't feel bad mine is quite similar (and I hate mine).

I'm assuming you built the shelves yourself? Nicely done.

Ack! I'm jealous at the amount of games with boxes. Makes everything look nice and uniform, which is something that I strive for. Like everyone else said, nice and clean. :)

I'm also loving how clean it looks. I wish I could find so many complete games like everyone else on here seems to. It's a pain in the ass how I rarely see Nintendo games with boxes. But the wood looks really good and goes well with everything. I'm planning on using a similar wood look but it won't have as many shelve seperators.

A+ for cleanliness and organization.

Looks like the next addition to your collection needs to be a next generation couch 8-)

LOL ...I agree with everyone about the couch...but it was free so I can't complain too much ;)

I have to ask, where did you got the glass case?

I bought the glass case from a local store display company...it cost me around $200. I can hook you up with their info if you like.

I'm assuming you built the shelves yourself?

The shelves are actually store bought and quite nice...these are the ones I have:

The one with the DS stuff is the same brand, but smaller.

It's always nice to see something of mine in someone's room of doom (I sold you that Point Blank 3 didn't i?)

I believe you did...and I love it :D

How many Nintendo DS games do you have ?

Currently I have 115 games (with 1 more coming in the mail)...almost a full set. There are a few on the boards here that have more than I do.

Thanks guys for the comments. This would never have been possible had it not been for DP and the members here who got me hooked on collecting (is that a good thing? LOL).

Any other questions feel free to ask :)

You appear to be a DS fiend.

Wonderful looking, I must say. You've inspired me to get my RoD gallery updated, too.

Very nice.

Many rooms of doom are messy and cluttered and it really detracts from the collection.

A clean, tidy and organized room emphasizes it. Yours does that. You should be pleased :)

What's that white system next to the Genesis?

Japanese Turbo Duo I believe, also I believe it is modded to play US games.

Note to Users, I have slept in that room. It makes me feel at home 8-)

Dude don't let the DS games slip past you. Very smart choice to collect everything from the start.

One question as I also want to collect all DS games. Have you bought all of them brand new, or used? Also, have you bought alot of them new at full retail price that weren't on sale?

Yes, it was. I met a guy who used to work for majesco and he gave me the final boxart for the game. I was close to getting the actual proto with it, but he didn't want to sell in the end :(

I'd say about half of the games I bought either used or when they were on sale. I made out like a bandit on ebgames.com (before they switched over to gamestop) because they would allow 25% off and free shipping and I knew the games were complete. Now, you'd be lucky to just get the game so I stopped with that. I also got a ton of games cheap from the KB sales that were going on last year ($5-10 games and the 1/2 sale.) I also found a few really cheap on eBay.

The rest of them I bought new at full retail price...mostly the games I really wanted to play, or something that was $20 or less and looked like it might have a low print run. (summitsoft and some majesco games).
