Well, I just got into work today and our homepage is an intranet webpage. They have a poll half-way down left side daily and sometimes has some interesting questions. So, today was a unique one and decided to ask everyone here what they think. Here's the poll question:

April 25, 2006:
A new market is emerging for video games based on hit television shows. Of the TV titles listed below, which would you like to see as a video game?

As of the time I voted here were the results according to my co-workers:
24 - 22%
CSI - 36%
Cold Case - 5%
A-Team - 20%
Magnum P.I. - 7%
Alias - 10%
886 Total Voters

I could have sworn that at least 2 of these shows were already created as video games: CSI & A-Team. Of course another might have as well, but I'm wondering if they even do research before some of these polls are posted. :/

I haven't ever seen any of those other than CSI and A-Team, neither of which I've seen many of.

I know there's quite a few CSI games for PC. I vote for CSI, not necessarily because they already exist, but just because I think it would translate fairly well into a video game.

What about Saved By The Bell?!?

ROFL

Shouldn't this be in Modern Gaming? :hmm:

CSI, Alias and 24 are already out, so they are really behind on the times.

I'lll take a game based on the Fox show 'Bones' though.

They have denied us a "Murder She Wrote" video game long enough!

Mr. Wizard needs his own game too.

I somewhat debated over where to put it, but because I recall playing an A-Team game on the Atari 2600 I began to think Classic. But then again CSI and 24 are newer games that were released. If mods think it more so belongs in Modern I don't mind. :)

BTW: For some reason, when I think about the A-Team video game, the Kool-aid game also comes to mind. :-P tasty.

Whatcoo talkin bout Willis!

The answer is clear-

Differn't Strokes- or maybe something with Jimmy Walker in it. :D

Honestly though- how many games made about TV shows were any good anyways? -_-

Ummmm where's the Bob Ross game??? This is in development but you never know what could happen until its actually on the shelves. I think this is the game that I am most looking forward to. This single game may actually make me buy a rev. I think its a super original idea that if done correctly has great potential. I can't wait @_@

If done right an A team game would totally kick ass.

Although the likelyhood of a new A team game beiing produced AND having fun gameplay is about nill.

I know CSI and 24 were video games, but, personally, I don't want any of those shows made into video games.

LOL
Seriously, who would buy any of those as games.

At least with McGuyver, you could build weapons out of stuff!"Lets see, Ive got some paperclips, a soda bottle,..." ;)

They should make a game using the characters from the Super Mario Bros. Super Show.

What do I think? I think people should give some inclination to what the hell their poll is regarding by using a title that doesn't require reading the thread to decide if the reader is interested or not.

Isn't there an A-Team movie being made now? They should make a movie tie in game, but make it like a Metal Slug / Contra style. I'd go for that...

While they are at it make a Land of the Lost game...

Is there an NYPD Blue game? The "game over" screen could be Dennis Franz's ass. You KNOW you've lost then.

I also think "Manimal" is ripe for video game conversion. "Part man, part animal: Manimal!"

A-Team.

Best tv show ever deserves a game. 8-)

I voted for A-Team... But on 2nd thought...they never..ever actually shot anyone...ever. that would be a shitty game where you just shoot at the ground near peoples feet.

I thought there aleady games in production based on 24 and CSI? CSI may have already been released in fact. And wasn't there an unreleased A-Team game for the Atari 2600?

Well, if you read my starting post you'd get where I'm going with the poll and all. Look at the discussion and you'll see that others are picking up on the flaws of the poll I posted from work.

The A-Team all the way. Ok - so it's likely to end up some half-arsed budget affair, but I'd still buy it. Seriously, how cool would it be to play as Mr T? He'd have to have a button dedicated to releasing a volly of morale sapping "Sucka" based insults. It'd also probably be the only shoot 'em up in existance where you lost if you actually killed someone.

either A-Team or Magnum P.I..........or Sanford and Son,which would be a "different" game, to say the least.........
