Well, for my 15 minutes of fame, let me be the first to introduce you to my room of doom. Please watch your step as it's a bit crowded here in my office.

Quite a bit of a collection, yet somehow it never feels that large. Atleast, not untill I have to pack it all up to move it around.

Nice collection man.

It is always cool to see other people's collections, that is why I decided to post mine.

You should put this in the videogamecollectors.com (http://www.videogamecollectors.com) gallery!

It's up at the time of this posting.

Most impressive...but I'd bet it would be even more so if you could adjust the contrast of the photos. ;)

Looks good!

What type of shelves are those? My collection is mainly in boxes (which is fine because we're moving soon). So I'd like to get some proper shelves for display purposes.

Excellent import manga collection. Excellent NES/SNES collection, too.

That reminds me, Felis posted his import closet on ANN's "Show me your DVD shelves" thread (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11845&postdays=0&postorder=asc&topic_view=&start=0) (see page 20). The result was kind of entertaining.

Anyway, nice stuff. I like the compact shelving.

That's actually really nice. I love the look of shelves when they are completely packed tight, as in the way most of your shelves look. Makes it look like you have so many games that you need to cram things into every nook and cranny.
Good stuff.

I thought about that, but figured untill I get my better pics up, these would do for now. There's so much missing in these pics as they were done on the moment.

Those shelves have a bit of a funny story, see, they were got from the wharehouse I work. Basicly they are the empty cases for some monster car/truck toy that came packed in them. As they were to be thrown out once the orders were filled, she was allowed to take as many home as he could fit in her car. The cardboard cases that is, not the cars. The great part about them is they hold all the old loose carts just perfect! Hold everything rather well actualy. The only problem experienced so far is they tend to lean a bit either forward or back. It's cardboard so this should be little surprise.

I know, those pictures are horible! When I took them, I tried it with flash first, but found you couldnt see anything. Then I took it without flash, and while you still couldnt see much more you could atleast see something. I was still trying to find decent photo editing software at the time and wasnt able to do much more then whitewash the pics with the tools I had available at the time.

The Japanese statues are just stuff I've been given over the years. For some odd reason my family believes I want a collection of Geisha figures. While I'm not going crazy looking for more, when they get me more I dont mind because I know what ever new ones will match the old ones.

Back in my old place, I could never manage to fit all my games on the same shelves. I'd put them up, move em, put em up somewheres else and could never find a way to display them for easy access without having to fight with what would be on shelves and what wouldnt. These shelves solved that problem. As for them being jam packed, I believe you know the problem all to well of finding space for 700+ game colections better then I would.
