I'm curious here.
A few months back, DreamTR sold a cart-only USA version of the game on eBay for like, ninety bucks or so. Well, I was wondering, how rare is the game in comparison to the European version?
Idid a search on eBay and I'm seeing complete, EUROPEAN versions. Is the USA/Latin America version that rare?
And how much would a complete USA version fetch?

Is the USA/Latin America version that rare?
In a word: yes.
As a US SNES owner here, back in the day I was looking to try and import either game being a huge football fan of course. Could I find them? Like finding a straw in a needle stack. No importer could get hold of it. So I went without.
I'd still like complete copies of both for the collection at some point, but that's gonna be pot luck.
Is it a US release? Well it came out in Mexico. Whether or not it actually was found in US stores is another matter. I even asked a work colleague to be on the lookout for the little buggers when he took a recent visit to the land of tequila (no luck of course, but never hurts to ask!).

Nah, chances are that if he'd managed to find a copy, it would've been a bootleg. I was just confused because the European version is popping up more often on eBay, and usually it's Europe who got the least copies of a game, if a port was ever made to begin with.

When it comes to football, I reckon the US gets the least copies of games. You should see the sales figures for FIFA and Pro Evo here... similar to US sports titles in the homeland.

As an owner of an entire US N64 set, I do believe that the game came here in a limited run. I have found three copies in six years in the wild(actively looking for one) two with a box and one with an instruction manual. Two of the three copies came from a independant rental store chain. All three versions were found in Northern California/Oregon. Yes the game is very rare, I just feel that I was that lucky.

I'm talking about the SNES version, not the N64 version. The N64 one had a lot more copies pressed than the SNES one.

Actually, no. I made a mistake, I referenced DreamTR's auction which was for Deluxe... and I'm talking about the original one.

Uh. Right. I'll repeat what I said: "I'm talking about the original one." As in, not the DELUXE version.
