Official Collector's List UPDATE

Over 400 strong! If you're not on the list, you're supposed to be - so check out the simple instructions and get cracking!

NOTE: we branched out to 16-bit systems and beyond long ago - how would you like this displayed? Keep the same "number of games" column or just a YES/NO indicator under each major system?

ABSOLUTELY keep the number of games per system! I'm looking forward to seeing how people are doing on their next gen collections. I love seeing who the heavy hitters are for each system...they give me something to shoot for! The only change I would suggest is limiting the numbers to unique games per system...some of the numbers now on the list (last time I checked, anyway) are obviously beyond the total of games released for the respective systems.

I'd like to see more board handles next to the names on the list as well....but then again, I don't have do do any work to make that happen, so take it for what it's worth. I appreciate all of the hard work that obviously goes into this site....keep up the great work!

I like the number idea - yes/no is just too boring. Besides, if you did want to strike up a deal with somebody you could quickly check the numbers and surmrise how much leeway you might have...

I assume you'd like a new batch of numbers from everybody since, as I look at the list, you appear to be the only 16 bit collector out there :D

I think that leaves all the fanatical import people out in the cold. If you want to divide up releases between import and domestic, that also is a problem for those people outside the US. What about Hacks? Homebrews?

And then including unique ROMs/versions is also questionable and relates to the age old dispute of whether to include stuff like Sears titles. And then what about prototypes?

Granted, nobody should be including the exact same games (I have 20 copies of Combat, etc.), I just don't think that it could or should work.
