I tried to find my previous topic from last year, with no luck.
Anyhow, I have new pictures of the gaming room up, now that it's been moved to a spare bedroom from the basement.
Check it out...

That is quite an impressive collection. How many games total have you amassed? Man, I can only hope to someday have as many games as that.

I'd guess the total count is somewhere between 2400 and 2500.
It takes more time than anything; I've been building the collection for about 6 years now, and if I had to guess, I'd say including current gen systems and games, I've still only spent between 6 and 8 thousand dollars in that time.

I like the way your Vectrex is recessed between the shelf, I bet it makes for a more immersive experience!

If you think it looks this good by looking at the pictures, you need to see it in person. This guys collection is massive.
I remember the first time I saw it (back when I was a n00b), I was blown away.
Looks nice in the new bedroom, buddy!

Thanks, Jumpy. There is still stuff in the basement; unfortunately, it just wouldn't all fit in the little 8x10 bedroom.
I had to leave the C64, Vic20, TRS-80 coco3 setups down there, plus the ti-99 and a couple other older systems, most of the loose pong systems, and all the newer boxed items.
boatofcar: yea, that's kind of the feeling I was going for. I 'built' (read: threw together) the shelf around an opening properly sized for the vectrex. I was originally going to do one for the Virtual Boy as well, but I ran out of space.
Blitzwing256: I had doubles of a few of those board games this past summer. Ended up selling them at a yard sale, but not before I made sure the versions I kept were complete. :)
