No name on it and it has a 9-pin plug (ala Atari, Genesis)

Looks like a 3rd party universal lightgun. Possibly use for Famicom too.

Yeah, it could be for a NES/Famiclone system.

Does the Fami have a 9-pin like the 2600? I thought it had the same ones as the NES.

I can't get the image to load right now, but I have to say if it has no name on it, it's the lightgun from one of those Power Joy systems that they sell at mall kiosks and flea markets. IIRC, the 9 pin connector is on the bottom of the main controller...

Again, this is without the aid of the picture.

Im not sure about the real Famicom, but Speedy_NES mentioned the Famiclones which makes more sense.
I thought of the real famicom, but i just checked my Twin Famicom. It has a 15 pin connector on the side, not 9.

I can't get it to load either, but I know the light gun that came with my Power Joy III had a 9 pin adapter that plugged into the front of the Power Joy. I'd have the see the picture to be 100% but that's what it sounds like.

I put the same question up over at AA. The picture seems to show up there here's the link.

Definitely the Superjoy/Powerjoy Famiclone gun. I have a couple just like it.

Have you ever heard of anyone trying to mod one to work on a NES?
