I am curious to how Warioware: Twisted handles in different GBA models. The original GBA is a toploader, whilst the GBA SP and GBA Micro all load from below. Is this a problem when playing Warioware: Twisted?
How does Kirby Tilt N Tumble handle for instance in the GBA SP compared to the GBA (Obviously it doesn't work in the GBA Micro)

Twisted has a different sensor in it to KTnT, the latter only operating in a normal GBC properly. Twisted works in all models that can play it afaik.
You'll have to import it anyhow, it's still not out here yet! I've been told it may be due to the fact mercury is used in the switch sensor, which is banned from appliances in the EU. Who knows. Go import!

The sensor on WW:Twisted sits on the top of the cartridge and is of newer technology, so it's able to work upside down without fault.
Kirby T&T had an older-style internal sensor that didn't work upside down. Only playable in an original GBA or GBC.

Doesn't Twisted refuse to run on a Gameboy Player or something like that?

Thanks! I've been wondering the same thing.
I really want this game - our local EB Games stores are selling it $29.99 Cdn new or $31.99 Cdn used (loose). wtf? O_O

It'd be impossible to play anyway wouldn't it? Unless you were holding the GC in your hands and turning it. I wonder if that would break it? (either something fan related or optics related)

That would make sense.
Something that doesn't make sense is why the Kirby Tilt N Tumble ROM is available ~ How the hell are you supposed to tilt your PC? Lol

it does work fine in everything i've tried it in... although it's a little awkward in the micro, as the cartridge port is not in the middle of the system.
however, i can't beat the boss stage of wario man's set of games. the dancing memorization one. i suck :(

it does work fine in everything i've tied it in... although it's a little awkward in the micro, as the cartridge port is not in the middle of the system.
Does that make it more difficult to use? Does it make the tilting seem lopsided?

just a tad. if you hold the system by its sides though, it's not that big of an issue.

Kirby and presumably other GBC tilt games CAN be used in a SP if you put it on a gameshark or such. I dunno how 100% normal it plays but it works a lot better. The shark will turn the cart around so it's facing at least somewhat the proper angle.
As for emulating, VBA has tilt sensor controls you can set to buttons or whatnot. If I play one with an xbox controller I set the tilt directions to the right thumbstick. It's hit or miss but the option is there.
Warioware calibrates itself to the machine it's used in when it's turned on. It DOES work on a gameboy player I have heard, but you'd have to hold and tilt your cube and that probably isn't too awesome for the machine and certainly wouldn't be very nice to control. It works in a DS, SP, and normal GBA fine, and the micro has been mentioned.
