Isnt guild wars free? Whats the benefit of buying your account then?

Guild Wars has no monthly fee, but you need to buy either the game itself or an account to actually play it. I do believe that all you need to do is download the client itself from the official website (www.guildwars.com), and you're all set to go.

yea it is free to play and download. I just bought the cdkey from someone and it worked fine for me. :)
