I don't have the space or tools for a cabinet, but I'm getting sick of playing MAME using a keyboard. Can anyone recommend me a good all-around arcade pad/controller?

I have a 2-player X-Arcade that I'm very satisfied with. If space is an issue, it can sit nicely an a desk in front of your computer monitor... or you can even opt for a single player model if you really want to go small. At just $129 for the 2-player version, the price is very reasonable... plus if you have other systems, you can buy adapters for it (like Dreamcast, PS1/PS2, Xbox, Gamecube).
