I recently found this and researched the online rarity guide and DP Advance Guide with no luck. I have never seen this before, and am inquiring how rare it is. It is a Sega Genesis White Arcade Capcom Stick, the same as the Snes/Nes version, but white and for the Genesis. Anyone else see one of these? It will go good with my Sega Collection! I posted it in my room of doom, any info would be great. Thanks, John

That's the Japanese version I believe. I've seen it once before. Since the US Genesis version looks like the grey SNES one, except with different colored buttons.

I have that exact joystick. I found it at a local game store near my college for 5 bucks. I'd appreciate any info too! I read somewhere that it was packaged with Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition but Google doesn't like me today so I can't offer much more info than that...

It's just the Genesis version of the Capcom Power Stick. It's a decent pad, I used to own it but I gave it to a former friend. The buttons are kinda weird, but the stick was decent. Its turbo functions were very, very useful on fighting games. ;)

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the NES or SNES cable (from the SNES/NES Capcom Fighter Power Stick) with that joystick to use it with the NES or SNES, respectively?

At least with the Genesis stick I have, the cable is hard-wired into the system. So no.

I have the same one as well. I believe it cost me $5 at Value Village. On mine, the cable is hard connected as well.
On the grey one I have, the cable is removable and there are two sets of cable ports.

Just got one yesterday, in the finds thread on this page (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=83198&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=250), near the bottom.

Ya, for a minute I was thinking he was talking about seeing the one you posted about finding until he said he owned one and it's in his Room of Doom. It appears the controller stick isn't that horribly uncommon to see several people post about having one in the past day. Maybe someone will be able to shine some light on this stick with details about where they got it rather than just finding them second hand at shops.
There is a pawn shop out a ways from my house that has a huge bin of controllers and arcade sticks. They range in price from $3-10 and some are in bad condition. From time to time they get new controllers to fumble through and maybe one day I'll see one of these, or some other awesome stick. I can only boast about my official Sega Saturn stick I use for my arcade ports and fun RPGs/Puzzles. (Ya, I like my Saturn!)
