Just as the title says, I don't want to pay $100 for friggin' Pokemon Box for the gamecube, does the import work well/is import friendly? I just want to store extra pokemon.

I have no prior experience, but due to the fact that Pokemon character names are in Japanese on the playing cards, I'd guess that they would also be in japanese in Box.

$100? Who in their right mind is offering Pokemon Box for $100?

If one came up for $100, you'd take it ;)

(or more precisely, they've been going for $150-200 on average complete, cos they are no longer sold)

Ding.

Question is though, will the JP Box work with the US Ruby and Sapphire?

Ah... I did not know that.

If you are able to play european discs go for a european version. The game is easy to get, if you don't need the box as it was a pack-in with the Pokemon Colleseum Mega Pack. The game is in the samebox as the Colleseum game even though the box never mentions that the disc is included.

Complete? Lowest I've seen in the last six months is about $125.

There's at least four on eBay currently though: two with openings of $149 (no bids) and two on around $75 each so far, though only one of them still has the outer cardboard box.
