Yeah, it's an early build and still needs a lot of work, but it's a good start. I personally never thought N64 emulation would be possible on the PSP but after seeing this, it definitely looks doable:

This could be really good. It's hard to emulate the analog stick for the N64 controller on a PC, but maybe the PSP can pull it off.

Wow, I had no idea StrmnNrmn was even alive still, heh :)

Pretty neat work...glad to see he's busting his ass trying to get it up and running dandy-like on the PSP. It's a shame he quit work on the Xbox version, but...eh... this should be interesting :)

So, whats going to be done about those extra two buttons needed?

I'm sure future updates of the emulator will have a button mapping feature. Most n64 games didn't use all the buttons anyway, so I doubt it'll be an issue.

Maybe the two buttons will be the screen brightness and music buttons? Hard to imagine, maybe, But it's the only way i can think of it.

I wouldn't hold my breath with this one, the Xbox is having a hard enough time emulating N64 so I would doubt even more seriously that PSP could pull it off.

Not that it wouldn't be sweet though, I just can't imagine it ever running the more complex games at full speed.

What's the framerate on this? 1 frame a second? maybe 5 - 6 if pushing it?

No way close to being playable, and N64 probably never will be on the PSP, the lil black machine simply doesn't have the grunt.

To be fair, there's no one actually working on a dedicated N64 emulator for the Xbox, they're just doing quick and dirty cross-compiling of PC-based N64 emulators.

There's not many real emulator authors on the Xbox, sadly.
