Sweet, you think you could bring a "Stick Happens" and a VirtualBoy clock with you for me to buy?

Sniderman
05-12-2006, 09:31 PM
Wasn't planning on bringing any clocks, but I'll make up those two just for you and give you one of my "in-person special deals." :D Track me down when you get there.

Mr.collection

Thanks, I'll be set up all day so I'll keep an eye out for the clocks and shirt/hat.

Ah I can't wait, another note: I want to get rid of every thing I bring so all reasonable deals will be good.
I want to get me a Mother 3 Deluxe box so I need $200+ after the sale.
I may dig out some more stuff out of my collection too so bring money and I will also accept checks too just in case.

Rory, you are so damn reliable when it comes to posting about where we are. I can put up with you at least that much.

I might be offloading some RPGs and whatnot, maybe Suikoden, Non-GH FF Tactics, and whatnot. I've still got some cheap SMS games and my Neo Geo stuff. If anyone shows up at the event, I'll sell you FF Special, SS2, and KOF98 for $135 instead of the $150. We'll probably be bringing Guitar Hero with us, if possible.

My part of the stand won't show the awesomeness of my Flea Market stand from last summer, but I'm sure I'll have some good stuff.

I will be selling lots of stuff cheap. Trades welcome, NES and SNES games preferred. Also bringing my DS for any wifi action.

I just checked their website and pictures were posted from last years event.

Hey, I just found out today that I will be there! I will probably be the most travelled..........I'm coming in from sunny Florida.

Anyways I'm going to the site right now to talk to someone about getting a table. I will be bringing my and another members stuff to sell.

Anybodythat has any info about getting a table (in case it's not on the site) please shoot me a PM.

-Thanks! -Ken

I'm getting pretty excited, I haven't got to go to something cool since CGE last year.

Anyways, Rory is going to bring 2 tables for me and I will bring one more. This should be enough......hopefully.

Anybody have any wants, needs, or preferrences?

I can bring games from any system (almost). I will be bringing some cool consoles and some strange stuff. Video game promos for cheap and lots of posters.

The real questions are:

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what consoles are the most popular?

I will be bringing lot o' NES & SNES, but are there lots of Atari and Sega guys there?

Should I bring lots of commons are rares?

Boxed or loose?

Any help would be great, thanks. -Ken

Bringing everything you possibly can would be good, but as for rarity and whatnot, I can't say. I f you can grab EVERYTHING you want to sell, that'd be good. If you can't, bring a little of everything. Boxed stuff might be better, as well as games that are relatively popular among classic gamers. Last year I snagged Phantasy Star IV for just $7.

There were also guys trying to sell MVS games, but to no avail.

Cool, I saw that you had some AES games. I only collect U.S. AES, but if it never came out in the U.S. I will make an exception.

If anyone else has any AES, Game & Watches (commons, but I REALLY want a zelda one), or some cool Turbo stuff then they will get some good stuff from my stuff. I am also bringing my friend/business partners stuff....so he will probably also have specific stuff that he will trade for.

Does anyone think newer PC games dirt cheap would sell?

Sorry for all of the questions guys! :D

It's good that you're excited - as I'm excited too - but please keep two facts in mind about CCAG:

1. It's only gonna be open for four hours: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. I've a feeling that most vendors will be travelling light and will only be bringing items that they know they can sell. Obscure or unusual items will probably be in slight demand.

2. It's one of Ohio's smaller shows. Good fun and great people, but see above. Obscure or unusual items will probably be in small demand.

As long as you don't come with overblown expectations, you'll have a great time.

I hear you man, I just love being able to talk geek with people in real life. My wife can only talk about games for about a half hour and get bored.

I think I am just going to sell anything common I sell for real cheap. Obscure items will be there too!

MrSmiley381

By definition, all of the stuff I'd be selling would total up to only a few boxes and one table, so I'm traveling light no matter what.

Basically, bring stuff people would want, and rarer stuff that lots of people know about. For example, US SNES Final Fantasy 3 should sell.

My AES games, unlikely, but I suppose it's worth a shot.

The unusual items might sell but I hope to score some deals on that stuff at the end of the night.

If anyone could bring their DP books with them and let me use them it would be great.

And if anyone wants to put in a special order prior to the show, let me know via PM before Wednesday. I'm not bringing "extras" - only those that people wish me to whip up and bring. No "special orders" either - only "stock image" clocks (those found on my site - click banner below).

Special CCAG pre-order price: $7 each. Good only for pre-order and pick-up at CCAG. PM me if I can bring one for anyone else.

I'll take a Castlevania clock, thank you very much.

If I don't have $7, I'll beat up Rory and take $7 of his, I guarantee it like George Zimmer, founder and CEO of the Mattress Factory.

I'm trying to make it up there. I can come as is but I'm trying to find someone to watch the kids. If I do bring them, you'll be able to pick me out fairly easily since I'll be the one whose yelling at his 4 yr old son to "put that down!" every 5 minutes.

Is anyone trying to hang out afterwards? In case I do find a sitter. Or a large tree to tie them to, whichever LOL .

Oh one of those people, stay away from my both LOL .
Sniderman, don't make MrSmiley381 a castlevania clock. Now I'll be able to keep track of time in my game rooms.

Just wanted to let you guys know I made another announcement about the show here:

Another CCAG thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=85969&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=)

Joe (digitalpress) himself assured me that he will make a global announcement to help generate some last minute hype and let some other people who haven't check this forum know about CCAG! It will be stickied across ALL forums and at the top of the forum index.

Sorry for not asking if this was O.K. first, but I figured you wouldn't mind a little extra publicity. ;)

I wouldn't mind grabbing a few drinks or something afterwards if I'm able to make it.

Do people ever send out tradelists beforehand? I've got a bunch of somewhat uncommon NES, SNES, 2600 and Intellivions stuff that I wouldn't mind unloading for a few more contemporary games.
