Hopefully someone out there can help me out. I'm looking for an arcade game that was a flight simulator. The cabineet is similar to After burner with the rotating cockpit but the game takes place in space going from planet to panet... anyone know what i'm talking about here?

Ya that kinda looks like it but i remember the graphics being a lot cleaner and the cabinet looking a litle more enclosed?

What time period are we talking about anyway? Starblade came out circa 1992.

Could it have been the original Galaxy Force? That game had a rotating cabinet:

Galaxy Force 1 + 2 are the same, it's just the cabinet. even the pcb's are the same :)

It might have been a custom or mod. cabinet but i think it was galaxy force... are there any galaxy force clones out there?

The only other game I can think of in the general area of the description given is Space Harrier.

The moving cabinet, traveling from planet to planet.... But Harrier came out in 86. So I'm assuming it's not the game your talking about.

Taito had a few on-rails shooters around that time ('87-92), that were similar to sega's games and had moving cabinets. But I can't remember the name of them to save my life.
