I've got my e-reader hooked into my GB Player in the cube because I'd like to play Pinball on my TV. It works, and I am pleased. Except there are graphical glitches. The pixels seem to wiggle a little every couple of seconds. It works fine on my SP, and the GB Player works fine, so whats the deal?
I know the NES emulator built into the e-reader has to axe a few vertical lines to get the right resolution. Is this a by-product of that. It might happen on the SP, but the screen is small enough that I just don't notice.
Any ideas or comments? Is this regular?

The e-reader's NES emulator does a weird flicker effect to smooth out the image, rather than just dropping scan lines entirely. What you're seeing is no doubt a byproduct of that. As I recall, there are some options in the GB Player that let you change the scroll to smooth, sharp, or whatever. Play around with those.

Sounds good - so... it isn't going to damage the TV or anything will it?

Nah, not any more than playing anything else on the GB Player. It won't do anything worse than look a bit funny.

Damage it? God, no. It's just like playing any GBA compatible game...just it's on a TV. I have played NES roms on the GB Player before, though...seemed to work just fine.

Let us know how it goes! I may pick up a flash cart if the results are good.
