This is a question for the PCE/import gurus out there. I'm looking at buying an original (white) PC-Engine, but am curious to know if folks have had much luck in hooking one of these little guys up to a standard US television. I know that people have been able to play older RF only Famicoms by tuning their TV to channel 95+. Does this same trick work with the PCE? Thanks in advance for any help.

Just get a S-Video mod for it, and save your headaches

It does work on Channel...96 I believe...but you'd be a lot better off just getting yourself a Core Grafx or Core Grafx II. AV built in.

Like what he just said. ;)
Why in hell you want to play you games in RF anyway (it's horrible!)?

Just use an emulator!
Yes, I am being sarcastic. The answer you seek is that you can use channel 95 or 96, depending on whether your system is switched to channel 1 or 2. Old TVs will need the fine tuning adjusted, newer TVs should automatically fine tune in on the right frequency.
I suppose sending it in through a VCR first might do the trick if you TV doesn't find the signal correctly.

You could also pick up a PC Engine Duo and be done with it - it will output standard AV to your tv.

If a couple channels in the 90's don't work, try the 70's.
I can never remember which were for a Famicom and which were for PC Engine back in the day, since its been years since I've used an RF switch for those systems.
