If you sent this to his via ebay's "ask seller a question" link then your account can be suspended for that kind of mail. I'd definately consider it a harassing email.

And while the price may be too high I don't get the impression from his ad that he's trying to screw someone. I just get the idea that he's a bit clueless.

Looks like the seller closed the auction early. Might have had some doubts about the listing price and is doing some homework on the value of it.
