What Gauntlet player were you?

Out of the 4, Warrior, Wizard , Valkyrie, or Elf which one did you always have to be and did you shoot any of the other players? I did all the time to piss them off. lol

When alone, I would play a Valkyrie for the added armor.

When with others, I would play the Warrior to tank.

I wouldn't shoot other people if I could avoid it.

I am always the wizard. And no, I don't shoot other players. Not unless they shoot me a bunch of times or something. Then it's on.

i was always the warrior,and only shot other players if they deserved it,or if they smelt bad and i wanted them to leave the game.

I tend to use the elf the most, I was and still am a treasure hog, with all that added speed I would race ahead as far as I could and steal all the gold then come back and help with the enemies.

i pretty much always played the elf. i loved that game, especially at the arcade. "your life force is running out" lol. yeah, i shot other players if they were in my way.

I always get my treasure stolen because Im too busy trashing hoardes of creatures! Poopy.

Elf ... power up magic = good as wizard and their arrow shots can at certain angles shoot through gaps to kill generators.
Also, powerup shot speed and power and boom ...

Warrior is good too ...

Some levels are better and usually when solo, for the bad levels, just wait it out and let walls turn into exits and leave.

I was the Elf, and only sometimes the warrior.

I remember playing long hours of Gauntlet II for the original Game Boy and eventually getting all those power-up potions after you defeat the dragons, to the point where my warrior one time was just as fast (or faster) than the Elf did initially, was armored-up like mad, had great attack, and had Wizard-level magic skills.

always the elf, because i used to play doubles on the real machine with a mate, and they were always the warrior, the elf was directly at the other side, and made it easy for doubles!

the elf ain't bad either, pretty nippy and better than the wizard!

When my wife and I play Gauntlet, I'm usually the Elf and she's usually Valkyre. That's one thing I like about Gauntlet II, especially when playing on my cabinet, is that you can stand anywhere you want and play anyone you want.

Was almost always the elf, being able to shoot through the corners/walls and take stuff out was a blast.

The speeed was great too, especially for avoiding "death".

I'm always the wizzard in everything so i naturaly played a wizzard in gaunlet. I shot people "accidently" and i always shot the food when they where about to die!
