First thing I will address is that I realize we have a May finds thread now; but out of all fairness some of this stuff is worthy of future insight (Campus Challenge Stuff) and it is not one month of finds but 6-8 months. Also I have not been posting in the monthly threads due to being busy at school (YAY! PITT) but never to busy to buy. So I hope you all forgive me, and we all can have a wonderful, eventful, and lucky sumer together. So here we go!!

Very interesting in my opinion. I have never seen anything relating to this event before. Apparently, from what I can gather, after the great success of the Nintendo World Championship Nintendo decided to strike at the heart of videogames, the college demographic. Here trips and great prizes were given away after competitions.

Well folks that is mostly everything that is interesting. You may be wondering why this is called "Happy Thread," well that is because the is a "Mike's Sad Thread" soon to come. I will give you a hint to the sadness, It involves my basement closet flooding. :(

But as for this stuff, please enjoy and give me insight to anything I may have had questions on.

Happy Gaming!!

Mike

Well, I'll be the one to lock this thread. The photos are posted for all to see and enjoy. This thread's not being deleted, it's just that no one will be able to comment. But that's not what you want, right? If you want feedback, you may post this in the proper thread.

So everyone is free to enjoy the photos of your finds for as long as this post stays on the front page. Or you can link to it in your sig. But, sorry, impressive finds or not, this still belongs in the May Finds thread.

Icarwngs55, as I am a huge collector of things related to Nintendo's 1990 NWC, I also try to collect things from their other competitions (eg, Powerfest '94). If you are willing to part with any of the items from the Campus Challenge, I would certainly be interested, If you'd like to PM me.

Yours,
Rob
