Sounds like a cool deal but... Personally I don't know. If they are absolutely sealed then you should most likely go with the deal. You can still get a DS system new or used on the shelf, but getting those games sealed, brand new is a bit more difficult. Go with it only if you need those games added to your collection and have a spare DS, willing to dish out some extra $$ for another DS, or just don't want to have a DS right now.

I was interested in trading for ebay reselling mostly....but I did a bit of research and none of the games are valuable....I dont know *yet* what to do!

Damn good point. I was gonna say no but yeah you gotta get rid of the old one before its worth nothing.

If you can, make sure that they are nicely sealed.
I picked up a whole bunch without being able to go through them all, I was lucky, only about 1 in 20 has a compromised shrink wrap, that includes the tiniest of rips.
Make sure that the boxes aren't crushed either, this all sounds a bit picky, but if you're looking to re-sell these to collectors, people buying to collect look for these kinds of things.
By the looks of it though, it seems like a pretty swell deal.
Go for popular titles first of course, the Pirates! and Top Gun should be your first selection.
I'd take Paperboy, Star Tropics, at least one copy of Smash TV, maybe Videomation (all but guarantee you that there isn't a horizontal seal on this un-official release).
After that, no idea what to pick.
I'd predict that top gun (if it's the first one, not second mission), and Pirates! would be your highest grossers.
Good Luck ;)

Two Carmen Sandiego Games are new and sealed. That should pretty much do it if you're interested in trading your DS. It's hard enough to find the box and encyclopedia, let alone brand new. Sounds interesting enough. Consider wisely.

Yeah. I dont know which games to pick. Thats why I made this thread :D
I asked the seller and he says the carmen sandiego games are sealed, but that the boxes are the same size as regular nes games boxes! (?)

Well, if you're just thinking about reselling then I can't help you much. I'm not enough in the market to weigh the price differences between the DS and those NES titles. Unless you can walk around with that list and check to see what people will buy for it, it'd suggest saving yourself the trouble and sell your DS to the highest bidder and use that bit of money towards a new lite system. Like keiblerfan69 said, get rid of it in time to get the most for it.

h3ll yes I would trade! by not spending any money you could buy a new DS after you traded your original one anyways.

hell yeah , with pirates , hatris , and paperboy 2 alone make it worthwhile. I would do it in a second!

I don't know for certain because I keep getting an internal server error when clicking on the rarity guide, but Hatris complete should be a tad difficult to find.
I would definitely trade a DS for 10 sealed NES games. I have two now, and will purchase the DS lite on release, so I will not need a third DS. However I would keep everything for the system but the power cord and a stylus.

I'd do this in a second. One I'd defenitely choose would be PIRATES GOLD & Hatris....quite uncommon, especially sealed. Both expensive games, and a sealed one could fetch a lot. I'm MORE than sure that you'd make your money back in no time, selling 12 sealed NES games. Then like someone mentioned above, I'd buy the new DS Lite and enjoy the profits. Sigh...if only I had the oppurtunity though.

Man I sold monopoly complete with the game board poster for 28 bucks, not sealed. Make sure you bold your listing, or have sealed be the first word. Some collectors look for that only.
Do it man, esp b/c the DS lite is coming out. I'm looking into getting one too.

with the ds lite coming out i would trade your old one for the nes games and then go buy the lite when it comes out.

Sounds like you did pretty well to me, especially for Lolo 3 and Rocky & Bullwinkle (though that's probably more sticking out in my head because it was the first game I ever bought with my own money). I don't know if I would've done it (though I'd have shelled out some cash for the R&B sealed), but sounds like you didn't do badly. :)

Is it possible that he read this thread himself and realized which ones were valuable? It seems a coincidence that those were the ones that were open.
I probbly still would have asked for the complete Pirates and Hatris.

you did very well indeed, just selling the double games you'd easily be able to get yourself another ds.

lolo 3 (x2) (complete with shrinkwrap torn)
Panic restaurant (x3) (complete with shrinkwrap torn)
That is where you are going to make your money back, no doubt.
You could probably sell off just those 5 games to make enough money to buy a DS again.

You seem pretty knowledge-able. Do you think I should ebay them one by one or in a big lot?
Thanks

One by one those suckers. The panic restraurants in that shape would have no problem pulling $30 each, I'd bet even higher...
EDIT: Nice find by the way, I'd have done it in a second :)
