There is one going for more then 500 on ebay. I got it for 180.I am not really in a need for money now, but i would like to get the most i can. So should I?

I'd say yes, but then again I also don't collect sealed games.

Well, if you aren't in need for money, I say no. The only time I would eBay an item like that is if 1) I desperately needed some cash and 2) it was going for insanely high prices on eBay (like you mentioned in your post).

Sell it. Go buy a mint opened one (or just a loose cart) so you can actually play the damn thing.
Then spend the rest of the money on your missus/gf. If no missus, go buy your Mum something nice.

Wait. Sell it when you need the money. Me thinks it will only go up in value.

I completely agree with that last statement. I think that as one of the most collectible games out there, it will become even more extremely value in time.
Especially if you don't need money right now ;)

The one that's on eBay right now had an opening bid of $500, and it only has one bidder. The seller recently listed the same game for a $550 BIN and no one bought it. I think based on this information, if you put yours on eBay right now it would more likely than not go for less than $500. So if you do decide to sell it, I'd wait a few months, at least. Maybe hold out until Christmastime.
I'm the bidder, and i onyl bought it because it is in pristine condition, while yours wasn't
For such collectable item, even 1 rip in the seal will convince to not bid on it.
Even 1 scuff,or a bent corner,and it goes down $200 minimum!

Heck. No. Do not sell that sucker. Display it. Frame it and put it on your wall for all your jealous friends to come and see. LOL
My father bought me Secret of Mana on my 15th Birthday. He paid like $36 for a used copy that came with the officiaul strategy guide. My word, I was so happy to have that game at last. Still own it to this day.

It seems like you really want to sell it. You're just looking for someone to say "Sell it" so you don't have to regret it.
So, sell it.

This is also good to do if you've never played it. And keep the box.

Debate about it personally for hours on end! Think really hard!
If you want some extra cash, sell out otherwise keep. I'm sure if you hold on for even longer it'll just go up as well. Then again, you could sell it & invest into some bonds and watch those increase in value.

Don't do that. You could sell the damn thing for a lot, and then buy a boxed copy for 30 bucks and have a nice amount of cash for other personal needs. Just hang on to it, and sell it when you feel you need some extra money.

I dont think prices are going to get any higher then this.
You're basing this off 1 bidder, that doesnt mean it will sell at that price again.
If you see a bid war with like 6 unique bidders and it goes to $500 then that a whole different story.
If the current auction only ended with 1 bidder than I would say that it wont happen again anytime soon.

That is also truth but a while ago this seller listed a 2 sealed one for .99 cent and at the end it when for 400 and another for 500 so it may or may not.
Thanks guys for all your help.

If you can get $500 for it then I'd sell it. Tr ya Buy it now. Once one item sells for a high price the next one usually sells higher than normal aswell. Because some people watching the previous one seen how high it wen and think that is the going price. If I were you I'd try selling it now. If it sells then buy it back later when the price has cooled off a little. It is a collectible game but $500 can buy you something really nice.

Yeah that is probably too much. I doubt it will sell for that much. But you never know. The best part is you have nothing to lose on 10cent listing day. If you sell it for that much then congrats.

what is a good price?
i may sell it for a ps3 maybe
Don't sell it just to buy a PS3. What can a PS3 do for you that a sealed Secret of Mana can't?
If you can't tell, I'm not a big fan of the new game systems coming out. The newest system I have is a Dreamcast. I'm also not a big fan collecting sealed carts. But seriously, Secret of Mana is cool, and will continue to be cool for as long as there are sealed carts of it. A PS3 will be cool for about 1-6 months, it won't be long before everyone you know has one. How long will it be until everyone you know has a sealed copy of Secret of Mana?
Maybe you don't agree with me, but I don't think it would be a good idea to sell something thats very rare and likely to rise in value as time goes on just to buy something that is going to be very common and is guaranteed to fall in price in a couple of years.
I would understand if you felt you needed to sell it to pay rent or something, but don't get so hyped up for PS3 that you end up doing something you regret later.
All that being said, do what you want with your games, and do what you want with your money. More power to you.

Don't ebay a PS3 the first day it comes out, ebay the PS3 2 or 3 weeks before Christmas. Ebay is so crazy right before Christmas. In 2003 I ebayed my PS2 and got $350 for it. I only paid $180 for it used.
