I'm looking forward to a few of 'em.

Rogue Galaxy looks pretty much like something I'd like. I watched the long ass high quality trailer Level5 had up on their website a while back and damn near filled the cup. Haven't played Dark Cloud 2 yet, though :(

Medieval Total War II...jesus...i hope that game never comes out. Seriously, there's like a week of my life that I don't remember anything other waking up, playing Medieval Total War, going to sleep, waking up, playing Medieval Total War, going to sleep, etc etc etc. I've avoided Rome Total War for the exact same reason...just too damn good / addictive. It dethroned Civilization for "most addictive strategy game ever" in my book.

Valkyrie Profile 2 of course looks super hot and I'm looking forward to the PSP port of the first game. Haven't got a PSP yet, but I'm probably going to hop on the train this year :( (too many good titles out for it / coming out for it)

I still get a laugh when I see "Duke Nukem: Forever"

I'm still looking forward to it. There's a chance it'll get Daikatana'd, but that could happen to just about any game. I've got faith in George n' Co and I'm sure they'll kick out a quality product. The chances of it "being worth the 10 year wait" are damn near nil and I'm pretty sure that that'll be a key factor in review scores (because the circumstances surrounding a game's release are more important than the actual game!), but I'm confident it'll be a fun romp.

I was especially happy when GeorgeB proclaimed, "No more crappy Duke games" and quit whoring out the license (I think the Duke Nukem hunting game was the last straw). I wish there'd be more games like Manhattan Project, though...that was a fun game.

:(

Out of all the games you have listed, the 2 I'm looking foward to the most aren't there...

Disgaea 2 and Persona 3.

Persona 3 is the title I'm waiting for...despite probably going to go unnoticed.

Is Rogue Galaxy the only console RPG that isn't a sequel? Because I'm getting tired of sequels. I may check that out.

I'll definitely check out Valkyrie Profile 2, the new Mana game, and Dirge of Cerberus though.

Phantasy Star Universe is due out in October on PC and PS2 and will follow shortly thereafter on the Xbox 360.

The news I've been waiting for. I offcially CAN'T wait for this title.

I thought Final fantasy V and VI were gonna come on one cart?

That sucks!! I guess Final Fantasy V is gonna come out by itself.

Potentially the greatest year for the RPG ever. Big named titles, hopefully they'll all be good games. The Xbox 360 seems to have little to look forward to in the rpg category though...

Wasn't there a statement made a while back by Mr Moore himself stating that he realized that the Xbox's mistake was that there weren't enough RPGs on it.....and that RPG content would be much better on the 360?

He'd better not be lying. It's a very scary coincidence that the Dreamcast and the 360 are the same color. Peter Moore and white consoles don't go good together. LOL
