I thought this was really interesting:

Ya think Jakko will do anything about it?

Fairly interesting watch there, the puzzling bit is that the songs were removed on the pc versions, making it more obvious for the guys investergating the connection between the two.

It seems a bit like when you hear a song backwards and it's just a load of jibberish, then someone shows you some words. As you listen to the backwards song while reading the words you think you can hear them as well.

To me the music didn't sound all that similar. I only vaguely heard them as the same because I was being told they do.

Actually, I think the similarities are pretty astounding...unmistakeable, really. You really can't hear that?

I'm amazed...kind of blown away.

Child molestor or not - Michael Jackson makes good gaming music!

Actually, all this shows is that sonic 3's music sounds like MJ's. Whoever was in charge of sonic 3's music could just have been a MJ fan.

MJ now invading your childs life in all new ways! LOL LOL

Wow... I echo rbudrick here as I'm just amazed.

Now granted, I have no musical talent whatsoever, so it *could* be hearing what I'm pointed to as Fibblewith said also.

But my gut feeling is that it was pretty darn cool either way.

And... say what you want to about his personal life (I think his breakdown is one of the great American tragedies of the past 25 years... aside from of course, *real* tragedy) but you can't deny that Michael Jackson stands as one of the greatest musicians of the recorded music era.

Video game music? Why not? He could do it.

Jackson didn't actually write his own music, did he? Compose the tunes?

I can hear it, but like I said, it's probably mainly because of suggestion.

I do like his music. He's just turned a bit weird in the last decade.

Damnit. I though someone might have hacked the MJ Moonwalker sprites into Sonic 3.

Anyway, that video was cool :D

Interesting. Got to love video game related conspiracy theories.

Like most people, I whole heartedly agree he was one of the best entertainers/singers of our generation.

Damn shame, just like Pee Wee Herman (though I'm still unsure why he was busted.. what else are you gonna do in one of those theatres? I thought you were allowed to.)

My heroes are all but gone.

Moonwalker was a blast for Genesis. I should go play it.

That's what I was thinking when I watched it. I mean if MJ was truly composing the music you think SEGA would have mentioned it. LOL

As far as I know, yeah. He had some people write with himn, I'm sure, but I believe he wrote most of his own stuff. Of course, if someone could show me otherwise, whatever.

Fibblewith, I'm interested to hear if you are musically trained or played an instrument for any length of time. Chord progrssions like that are pretty unmistakeable.

Like the Stephen Wright joke: "I can't read music, so everytime I hear a song I think, 'did I write that?'"

Damn shame, just like Pee Wee Herman (though I'm still unsure why he was busted.. what else are you gonna do in one of those theatres? I thought you were allowed to.)

First, Reubens didn't molest boys, just himself. MJ did both, I'm sure. Reubens still rocks in my book. Second, he was AWESOME in Mystery Men. LOL

I think Michael needs the money so maybe he can sue Sega for not getting credit?

LOL yeah, that would be t3h 1337, d00d!!!!!!!!ONE!!!!111.

Interesting opinions, everyone; I personally think that a) Michael was and still is great despite his recent "small sausage shenanigans" and b) SEGA was involved in the scandel but should'nt be pestered 'cause mich's got enough money.

keep it up! :)

Wow, I can sort of hear it. I never knew he wrote his own music. I have even more respect for the man's talent now.

Certainly sounds very familiar to MJ's music. Honestly, I hate what he did to Children, but he was an excellent musician in my book. Some of those tunes are just unforgettable.
