i've been a video game fan since we got our first atari 2600 with pacman back in the day (wish i knew what year it was)

I loved everything from et to final fantasy 6 over the years.

I've always been a little slow to jump to the next "level" and grab the new current system.

I ended up with a gamecube as a gift, and a ps2 as a gift..and I had an xbox till my dillfuck of a roomate fucked me over and went back on a deal.

I've aquired games over the last few years for all 3 systems
and honestly aside from a few, they aren't anything worth playing for me. i've tried to force myself to get into them...the gameplay is weak, and the games are just shadows of the games that came before..just with prettier graphics (if you consider blocky polygons pretty)
i'm an obsessive compulsive collector of many things, but as I look at my collection of current gen stuff..I can't help but not care.

its something I never thought I'd do, but i think its time to quit buying new games, as few of these games have given me the enjoyment anything pre-psx has given me,
just for fun, and an excuse to put some pictures up:

this is a picture of all the games I bought and regret:

and of all the games i've gotten for these systems, these are the ones i'm going to keep:

its silly holding onto anything that you don't have any emotional attachment to.
i'd never get rid of my zanac or zelda for the nes...or my first laser blast (first game i ever bought)
but this stuff is completely lifeless to me, and its silly to keep them I think.

leave more room for stuff i'd enjoy on my shelf :-)

You didnt like Ico or Maximo-Ghosts to Glory? Blasphemy I say! I kid I kid. Everyone has different tastes and its too bad you spent money on that many games that you didnt enjoy.

actually, thats one of the few i never got to play when the roomate took back the xbox, most of the xbox stuff i didn't get a chance to play.
