This auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/Very-Rare-PC-Engine-LT-Boxed-Mint_W0QQitemZ8282677767QQcategoryZ62054QQssPageNa meZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) states that the seller is going to try to fix a pixel on a PC-Engine LT (that's a laptop format TG-16, Japanese area - it's not the handheld as you can see) with a program for the PSP.

Has anybody managed to do this? I imagine you'd have to partially disassemble the machine and connect the display to the PSP somehow, unless the program runs on the PC-E itself. @_@

The guy's mad. The only way to do this would be to write a program similar to the PSP pixel fixer but for the PCE (using HuC?) and put it on a PCE flash cart (or CD if you have a LT -> SCD adaptor).

Unless you could splice together some sort of ribbon cable adapter, I guess. Maybe I should ask him?

Actually, thinking about it, it'd be great if someone did code versions of the pixel fixer for the PC Engine and for the GameGear. Especially now Tototek have made flash carts available for these systems. Imagine all those GTs, LTs and GGs with dodgy screens that could be fixed.

It's possible they hooked up the TV Tuner module and played a recording of the pixel fixer that way.

Not that the pixel fixer video works, as I've seen no evidence of that.
