PS3 vs. Spiderman FONT

The first thing I thought when I saw the pics of the PS3 was Spiderman. Sure, Spiderman is Sony pictures, but c'mon.

...Oh, my bad, they changed the 'Y' ever so slightly. x_x

Sony is counterclaiming, saying Sony infringed their copywrite. No matter who wins, Kyle's Dad will come out rich.

It is fitting that Sony opted to use a font similar to that used for the Spiderman logo... especially since Sony have been casting a web of deceit about the PlayStation 3 for the best part of a year.

And both Peter Parker and the PlayStation 3 have to hide their true identities to protect their reputation.

But all the txt and graphics could still be all promo material, i wouldn't be surprised if it were to change closer to the release of the system?

I'm not sure why this would be a problem. Typefaces aren't copyrighted, any one that pays the licensing fee can use them for whatever they want.

i always notice that. kinda like how the xbox font and the font from all the harry potter books are constantly ripped off.
