I was talking to my youngest brother in Cali. ( well not so young I guess since he's 23 now) Anyway I was telling him about how I have a SNES again. (which he ended up getting jelouse about and wanting one again too LOL so he picked one up the next day at a Game Crazy) We were talking for a bit and he said I still have a bunch of my SNES games at my dads. He ended up going over there yesterday and picked up all my games and last night I talked to him again and found out I still have............
.Secret of Mana w/map and guide! :D
.Illusion of Gaia (also complete I beleive)
.Super Star Wars
.Super Metroid
.Actraiser
.Contra III
.Earthworm Jim
and a few others that I can't think of offhand. Also a few other guides that I don't seem to still have the games for ( at this time anyway ;) )
I was very excited and happy about knowing I still had Mana and Gaia I can't wait to play them again!
My brother is moving up here to Washington in a few weeks and is bringing all my old SNES games with! 8-) :D
He said all the games worked like a charm with no probs. He was having fun playing around with them since he picked up a SNES for himself.
Super cool news for me! :D I just have to wait a few weeks till he gets up here so I can play them too!

Groovy. Recovering long lost games is an awesome experience.

Though, I think this might qualify as a find and the mods might make you post HERE (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=84809).

sorry about that :embarrassed: I was'nt quite sure if it qualify under the finds thed or not. I debated whether or not to put this in the general discussion or May finds.

Kinda unrelated, but I'm glad you have seem to have a good relationship with your brother after you both have moved out.

And they say video games draw kids away from family! x_x

That's great. I was probably equally excited today. I was sorting through a huge rubbermaid container filled with nintendo cords and systems. I got to the bottom and saw one lone sega genesis cart. It was flipped upside down so I couldn't see what it was. I emptied all the nes stuff and just left the few odds and ends sitting in there. My girlfriend grabbed the game and said "what the heck is this?" I was being funny and said "It looks like a game to me" she almost threw it at me haha. It turns out it was a Sega CD backup cart! Much better than practically any game it could have been. I was expecting a crappy sports title. So the point of the story is... it pays off to sort through your junk every once in awhile!

Yeah, I get along with all my bro's and sis. I'm the oldest at 34 and the youngest at 23 but we all get along pretty well now. :)
it was a diff. story when we were younger LOL
