Okay, it's only the 32X, but I've finally knocked one down. I decided to focus on it a few months ago, just so I could complete something. Here it is:
http://www.curiousuniverse.com/collections/videogames/32x/32x.htm
A couple of my personal highlights:
Spider-Man sealed:
http://www.curiousuniverse.com/collections/videogames/32x/spider.htm
I would guess that there are less than 10 of these still sealed in existence? Am I crazy?
Last game acquired:
http://www.curiousuniverse.com/collections/videogames/32x/pitfall.htm
I never expected Pitfall to be that rare...
Well, that's it. Now what to focus on next? Master System? Turbo? Sega CD? Hmmmmmm....

Are you going to get Darxide as well?
I miss that one in my collection but hopefully me and you can find it soon...

That's Europe only, right? I didn't think there was a US release?

Yeah, Darxide is Euro only.

What about getting the few CD32X games, and then moving on to a compete Sega CD set?

That's awesome, man. Even though the 32X has a fairly small library, it's still something to be proud of. I currently only need 3 more of them until my 32X collection is complete, and it wasn't a walk in the park to get the games that I did.
That sealed Web of Fire knocks my socks off @_@.

Agreed. You still need a few before you have a complete 32X collection ;)

That web of fire you have there is simply amazing.
very cool and bloody expensive I guess...I had to pay more than $100 for mine in average condition.

WOW, Awesome, especially that selaed Spideman Web of fire. @_@ However as people have said, get the 32XCD games. Then if you want to complete the Sega CD, do that.

Congrats dude, I know the feeling as I've knocked off a few collections in my collecting, get the 32X CD and you are complete, Icing on the cake would be the import exclusives, there are only three and they are costly but easy to focus on, that would be the ultimate bragging rights.

Thanks guys. I knew you could appreciate this. I try talking to my buds at work about it, and they usually just give me a sportsmanlike smile and nod their head. :)
Regarding the 32XCD games. Here they are:
http://www.curiousuniverse.com/collections/videogames/segacd32x/segacd32x.htm
I split them into a separate section because in a way, the "Sega CD32X" was its own separate platform. At least in my goofy head. haha.
I would say that sealed Spider-Man is probably one of the top 3 items in my entire collection. It's weird, because I have a few Neo Geo games that cost a lot more cash, but that Spider-Man is pretty unique, I think.
Will Darxide play on a US unit without modification?
Jumpman, which 3 do you still need?

Thanks! Some of them are my originals from '95. I've picked them up here and there over the years, always waiting for the perfect condition. I was originally aiming for a complete sealed collection, but that started to get more and more difficult as time went by, so I settled for complete sets in good condition.
I remember walking into an indie game store here in Akron back in '98 or so, and they had a few of these on the shelf with the $50 price tag still on them. I offered them $35 for all three and the lady got so mad at me, she "banned" me from the store. Of course, I stopped by about a week later and she sold them all to me for $50.

Darxide has to be used on a UK genesis, 32x, AND tv. But i don't know if the other ones need to..

Congrats! The 32X is the only system I'm even close to completing. Unfortunately, the ones I'm missing are Spider-Man and World Series Baseball.
Even more unfortunately, I'm a cheap bastard.

Great stuff and congrats! :) Always nice to finish a collection.
Btw, doesnt a complete Darxide cost over $1000 ?
CosmicMonkey

Yeah, the PAL versions of DarXide, T-Mek and Primal Rage are all very rare and expensive.
As for playing imports, put switches on the MD and the 32X. The 32X only needs a 50/60Hz switch, the language part is based on what the MD is set to. Check here (http://www.segakore.net/articles/switch_32x.php) for the mod (it's in French).
It's a pity that the CD32X games were only used to give those damn FMV games a bigger video window. Imagine if they'd really used the combined power of the two machines. Imagine a shooter like Last Resort, with FMV backgrounds being streamed from the CD, and the 32x handling all the sprites.

Both FIFA Soccer '96 and Gekijoban Sangokushi play perfectly on an NTSC-US 32x and TV. It's only DarXide (the best game on the system) that requires jumping through hoops to play (in color, at least.) Of course, Gekijoban Sangokushi is entirely in Japanese and is one of those Koei games that really requires a good grasp of the Japanese language if you are going to get anywhere in the game. FIFA Soccer is completely playable and is a lot of fun... it runs faster on a US 32x than on a PAL one and its got graphics and camera angles that the Genesis/Megadrive can't duplicate. It's the cheapest of the bunch... I've seen it go for $20 or less on occasion.
Good job, man! I wish I had a sealed Spiderman.

Congratulions. Its always fun to complete a set. Just remember to play them even though some of those 32x games suck ass. Since you don't have darxide, do you have Romance Kingdoms 4? Those are only 2 32x games I need to complete my collection.

I was going to wait until I got the manual for World Series Baseball to post but this seems like a good time. As everyone else I'm awed by the sealed S-man and I feel compelled to expose my own progress, which is not without merit.

The only piece I am missing to have a complete U.S. set is the manual for World Series Baseball. BTW, $20 to anyone who wants to sell their mint WSB 32X manual. While my unsealed S-man is still my crowning jewel (let's face it, it's the crowning jewel for every U.S. 32X collection, sealed or not), I'm most proud of having 21 of the 36 U.S. games factory sealed. I'm trying to get every U.S. 32X game factory sealed so that sealed S-man is taunting me. Here's my list:

Here's a shitty picture of mine, the only complete collection I have. I have a couple of Brazillian, PAL, and Japanese games in there. Everything is complete but some of the boxes are a bit tatty. I certainly don't have a sealed Spiderman! I'd like to eventually replace the tatty boxes with really nice ones but that won't be happening anytime soon.
I'm working a complete N64 collection, but that will take some time, too. I don't have the time, the room, the money, etc.

X-Men for 32X?!?
Interesting,
so I have a complete Atari 7800 PAL collection, if I don't include USA-only released titles?

Interesting,

Sure. There was a big debate over what constitutes a "complete" collection a while back. Fot your 7800 collection to be TRULY complete you'd need ALL the PAL games, ALL the USA games (including the ones released for PAL) and any variations for other countries. Who wants to do that? Of course, you could add the USA exclusives and have an "All Released 7800 Games Collection."
A "complete" NES collection of games released in the United States (with or without the Sachens, your choice) would be obtainable (for a price.) To get ALL the games ever released in all territories for the NES/Famicom? Impossible. Too many games, too many multicarts, too many pirates.
You have to draw the line somewhere, and the PAL divider is as good as any.
X-Men was developed for the 32x but never officially released (or even finished.) The ROM is available on several sites the last time I checked. The first level is somewhat complete, the second level is less so, the third level crashes after you hit a certain point. I made a box for my cart with some proposed box art that popped up on ebay a while back. There are also several variations of Virtual Hamster out there... none I have seen are playable to any degree although you can kind of see what the developers were shooting for.

After looking at this post I have decided to start collecting all the 32x games. I think I have 8 of them already. This looks to be the second easiest system to collect for after Virtual Boy. I only need 2 US Virtual Boy games and they aren't even the expensive ones. I still need Golf and Panic Bomber so if anyone has them for trade please let me know. I'm not crazy enough to go after a sealed 32x collection. Even if most of the games are no good I still like having the possibility of playing them.

No, I have the unfinished game on cart. The ROM has been dumped. There are several copies of both X-Men and Virtual Hamster floating around. I've seen both of them on Ebay several times, but it's been a couple years now.
I think Spiderman is a bit of a disappointment. It looks like a really colorful Genesis game and sounds EXACTLY like a Genesis game (the 32x doesn't add a whole lot in the sound department.) The controls are complicated. However, it plays well once you get the hang of it and the overall design is good enough... I just expected more. Of course, countless gamers expected more from the 32x than upgraded Genesis games.
VF, VR, DarXide, Star Wars, Metal Head, X-Men, and a few others show the power and potential of the 32x.
Spiderman, Pitfall, MK2, Primal Rage, Motocross, Toughman... not so much.

I actually enjoy Web of Fire, granted it really doesnt show what the 32x can do.
