KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND
STRIDER!
Eco Fighters
and....it does include STREET FIGHTER 1987 finally...and much more...

PSP will get Capcom Classics Reloaded is pretty much a blend of Vol. 1 with a little bit of extras from Vol. 2

Well the GBA one kind of came from left field. They really could have put more games on it, although I'll probably pick it up anyway just for Might Final Fight.

I'm surprised they haven't given a CCC consideration to the DS yet.

I'm 99.9% sure that the GBA version will be yet ANOTHER PocketNES port! Dammit!

Hmmm...I've looked around and nobody else has released a list of games yet for vol. 2, just a press release. Sure about it only being 360? I keep seeing it for PS2 and the original Xbox.

Well what games are on the GBA version? A lot of those games never saw light on NES/Fami, so could one actually hack the cart to extract arcade versions of Strider for NES and SFII turbo? Hmmmm...nah, I don't think it'll be a PocketNES port.

Willow was a licensed game, so I'm sure that will keep Capcom from ever putting it in a compilation.

Anyways, this is great news. I'll probably get the PS2 version when it comes out. I wish the GBA version had a couple more games, though.

They could have certainly afforded it. Jesus, 3 NES games and PocketNES roughly occupies about 1/16th of the smallest size GBA cart.

Fuck you Capcom, I wanted that Gameboy Megaman compilation so bad.

Nice :D

Pissed me off that the PSP had some games the PS2 didn't get, but Capcom delivers.

Jeremy Parish posted a small preview over at 1up.

http://gba.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3150742

The games included in this three-game compilation are Might Final Fight (YAY!), Bionic Commando (BOO!) and Strider (BOO^99!) Strider for the NES has NOTHING to do with the excellent arcade game. It's not a bad game, but it's not as good as the original one. These are not arcade ports, but NES ports.

The E3 video for the compilation is available online at:
http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/3676

For all we know, they may include some hidden games... or extra things.

But I still think it'll either use Pocketnes (I really hope not) or Nintendo's emulator, used on the NES Classics Collection.

Funny you mention that, the next day after I posted this. IGN Claimed it'll be on Xbox, yet not 360. I think they meant Xbox probably.

Armored Warriors would be nice. Eco Fighters is CPS-II, so it should be possible.

Unfortunately, this is what I thought as well. :p

Edit: I guess that's official, then. Hmm...I need to get Mighty Final Fight sometime.

No Chip and Dale, Ducktales, or any of the other great Disney games Capcom made on the GBA port? Where's Code Name: Viper?!

I am very unpleased.

You expect Capcom to get dozens of expensive licenses for one budget release title?

I'm VERY happy to FINALLY be able to add Side Arms and 1941 to my collection of shooters. :D

And King of Dragons and Knights of the Round couldn't come at a more opportune time for me. I have been seriously considering picking both of those up lately. Black Tiger looks good too!

Well, licensed franchises are very hard to ask for on a budget compilation considering they would have to renew them. it would cost Capcom a fortune to release those Disney titles on the mini collection. But 3 games ****ing blows! 5-6 NES titles might have been acceptable. On top of Mighty Final Fight, Bionic Commando, and Strider, they could have at least added Code Name: Viper, Legendary Wings, 1943, or even the ever crappy Trojan, Commando, and Ghouls 'N Ghosts (by crappy I mean they were horrid ports, not horrible games).

Well I do understand the Disney games, but there are a lot more games of their own they could add. I guess they think people won't really be interested in the GBA version, but they could have added more of a selection.

November for the PS2/Xbox Vol. 2
October for the PSP "Reloaded"
September or October for the GBA "Mini-Mix"

The FF sequels were SNES only, but since Vol. 1 used a SNES emulator for Super Ghouls N Ghosts, it wouldn't be any problem for Capcom to put one or both of them on Vol. 2.

I'd certainly rather see those games rather than yet another version of Street Fighter, especially if it has the loading between opponents like the SF games in Vol. 1.

Vol. 1 is one of my favorite compliation discs, and the inclusion of Strider makes Vol. 2 a no brainer for me.

Finally....Black Tiger playable on a home console. That game kicked a lot of ass back in the day. In my little burg a little greasy spoon in a strip mall (which was a Dixie Cream donut shop, which spiraled into like three different diners until finally closing) had a back room arcade and that Black Tiger machine had people playing it constantly.

Still a bit miffed at Capcom for not releasing the NES port that was shown in magazines.

Wise Fwom Your Gwave.

I tested the GBA version (via emulation). It's got Strider, Bionic Commando and Mighty Final Fight. And it is a PocketNES port. Fuck. I'm not paying money for that, I'd rather get a flashcard now. :(

Oh, I checked out the ROM with a tile viewer, and there's no hidden games. It's only got those three games.

MOTHERFUCK.

The sound is imperfect, and the game slows down. Not the standard "too many sprites on screen" deal the NES suffers from... this one slowed down while playing Strider, with ONE enemy on screen.

Volume 2 on the PSP is killer; the inclusion of Strider makes it a must-own. It's by far my most played PSP game at the moment.

Finally, an arcade perfect port of Super Street Fighter II Turbo... you'd think there would be one by now all these years later? Haha. I got to check out this game and a few others a few months ago and everything is shaping up rather well, so I'll definately be picking this up in November!

I bought this game about a week ago, haven't played it much, but it is good! Especially Mighty Final Fight, a bit more difficult than the other Final Fights because of the HP bars of the enemies.

A great GBA game, wish it had more. This game is available at WalMart for $14.98...
