When did TXR become popular?

i am having an issue, i really like the Tokyo Xtreme Racer games so far and TXR drift came out earlier this week.

now the games before werent popular to the point of being sold out like this but the new one, TXR Drift....is sold out EVERY WHERE!

what the heck is going on?
mabe they just arent making many?

EB said they only got 2 coppies in an entire shipment.

i am frusterated i had to let it out but i am still wondering

Weird! Check Best Buy, since I found it there for a mere $10. I'm sure it's a pretty low print run, but it's hard to believe it would be sold out on such a widespread basis.

I probably know twenty people who bought TXR3 on launch day....I'd say they're pretty popular.

Only really with car people though, and a specific group of car people at that. As games, they aren't really that fantastic, but they're popular with people who want to be able to build JZX100's and put eyelids and quad tips on them and shxt like that....obscure stuff.

wow thanks for the heads up at best buy...there isnt a best buy where i live but i checked their site and its $10 with free shipping so thats cool.

EB was selling it for $20. every other place didnt know what i was talking about or didnt know the price.
