Hey folks!

The last NAVA was a good 'ol time and we'll continue to do these monthly as long as interest is high. We took some photos from the last event:

The MAY event has been scheduled and we'll have the usual selection of great game trading (remember to bring your stuff!), arcade gaming, console gaming and PC network gaming. And probably beer. Who am I kidding, definitely beer.

WHEN: Saturday, May 27th, noon to midnight.
WHERE: Digital Press Videogames - see the NAVA page at http://www.digitpress.com/nava.htm for driving and lodging directions.
WHAT: Bring your trade bait! Wheeling and dealing is a staple of this gathering. In addition we'll have the nternet gaming center open for free play for some heavy co-op or competitive 6-player games against NAVA members or the interweb.

If you have any questions please e-mail me at digitalpress@email.com.

See ya there!

Hmmm...

Total Est. Time: 7 hours, 3 minutes

Maybe I can convince some friends of mine to do a road trip.

Jersey? Christ, I live in Cleveland. Guess I'll take a pass on this one. I need to actually make it to a forum gathering one of these days. Every time I've tried to make it to the Michigan ones, something has appeared to thwart my efforts.

I've made the drive from Cincinnati twice now for NJ meets. It's like 10-11 hours one way from here.

Completely and totally worth the trip.

Ditto for me. Mansfield to NJ and back. THREE SEPARATE TIMES. Don't be such a weenie. Pound about three pots of java and you'll be fine. :D

Sorry, no-can-do. For the Ohio DPers, CCAG '06 happens that same day in Cleveland.

I assume that's where I'll find WiseSalesman that day. :D

I've just added the NAVA meet to my Outlook calendar (so I can sync it to my Visor), and thought others may have use for the same.

I created an .ics file with the gory details (time, address, etc...), but I've never really played with calendar items before and don't know if they are 'transferable' among various Outlook/Exchange environments. I.E., if I set up an appointment on my Outlook, and then somebody else, either in a different Exchange environment, or not using Exchange at all, tries to add the item to their Outlook calendar, will it work?

If so, I can email the file (it's literally only 1K) to someone that can make it available to all, and this could be done for future NAVA meets (that aren't already just a few days away from now).
