Since I have just completed a deal for a good ol' Vic and am going to start "re-collecting" for the unit, I have been looking at rarities and such just for the hell of it. I came across something that looks pretty cool. I hit a web page that speaks of a released game entitled: "Ultima: Escape from Mount Drash" for the Vic. Apparently nobody can confirm it's existence, but it is confirmed to have been released. Does anyone know any more about this?
BTW: This apparently IS a cartridge.

Certainly never heard about it being a cartridge... tape definitely. I think someone has found one out there... but it is ULTRA rare... an item actually worthy of that description!

The Basic listing (!) of Ultima: Escape from Mt. Drash also is a couple of hundred bytes too long to fit into a 8K cartridge. Of course they could have made it a 16K cartridge. Hmm.. I wonder if a Basic compiler would help to fit it into 8K.. :)

There was a writeup on it in a recent issue of Retro Gamer magazine.... I will see if I can find it when I get home. I think it was a tape. Guy paid several thousand dollars for it off ebay.....

That was me... both the article and getting a copy off eBay...
Amazing what happens in 2 and a half years...

I have the same problem with an old cart of Witch Way that I used to have. It is too bad, as it was my favourite game on the old Vic.
