I picked this up at gamestop awhile back. I noticed that it's a R7. I'm not sure if I'm going to play it, so I think I might sell it.

I sold a copy of X-Com with just the plastic longbox case and back insert for $46 BIN last week on Ebay. Going by that, I'd imagine a disc only copy would be worth around $35-$40.

Keep an eye out -- I found a few months ago a loose X-Com, then the next day found an X-Com longbox (complete), except no game. Match made in heaven!

I'd have to concur with the $30-40 guesstimate.

I'd venture a 30 buck or so return on your purchase on teh ebizzle for it loose. Though the buyers prefer theirs complete, its a good game, so there's always someone willing to take it loose.

My god man, passing up X-Com... it's like...

DIVIDING BY ZERO.

IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE POSSIBLE.

Usually, you just get that weird "undefined" error thing. It kinda sucks. Just like passing up X-Com.

Oh, as for value, $35 would seem fair. I prefer the PC version, but on a newer PC you run into problems whereas the PSX has a weird control setup but stable audio and video.

I agree with that price range. I've sold a couple of complete version of X-com in the past few years. Its like night and day how much people are willing to pay for a complete set on ebay as opposed to just a disk. Even weirder was buying the 2 sets at gamestop during their buy 2 get 1 free promotions. Why would anyone trade in that game? the horror LOL
