I deal with international shipping on a case by case basis because rates vary according to shipping method and destination, no need to make such statements without contacting me first. Just don't expect to use Paypal and then have me ship your Parcel regular air mail no tracking or insurance (that only works if I have cleared payment before sending out the item). :)

I'm just generalizing =)

Seems like everytime I email someone who has "Ships To - United States" about shipping to Canada they just give me a blatant no. =D We'll see then.

no worries, I'm reasonably easy to deal with. contact me via PM or Ebay for specific info on international shipping :)

as for the generalization, it is considerably more effort to ship international from the USA as you have to fill out a customs form and go to the post office in person (which are designed to have at least 20-30 minute lines at all times around here)

any Ebay seller who sells more than a few items a week and uses online postage would rather not deal with that.

finally, it also goes both ways, because after I tell people outside the US what it will cost for registered or insured or trackable shipping, and give the option of mailing in payment if they want "just airmail" they usually go away.
