Sega SG-1000/SMS My Card Compatibility

Is there a way to play SG-1000 My-Card games on a Sega Master System? I know they're compatible with the Mark III, but I don't think they work with the SMS.

I don't have any first hand knowledge thaT they work on a SMS, but despite what the DP guide says, the US SMS has hte same hardware as the Mark III, thus they should be compatible.
