It's been over a month since its release. How is this game? Is it fun? Is it hard on the hands?

It's a really fun game and there are a slew of control configurations to choose from if the default one is too hard on your hands.

It's the only game I've used the wrist strap - slash - thumb thingy with. My advice is play enough of the single player to unlock all the hunters and then go nuts on WiFi and multiplayer cause that is where the game shines. Best handheld FPS easily. :)

Does it have a quest mode, or is it only really intended for multiplayer? I don't really give a crap about multiplayer, and really would be more interested in quest ala the first two Prime games.

It has a single player mode (which I havn't beaten yet), which is quite decent, but it's not very long from what I understand.
It's still worth buying regardless, because the game really shows off the abilities of the DS.

There is a single player campaign mode, where you planet hop looking for these artifacts. Unlike the Metroid Prime games, there's no lockon, but with the stylus control, it's not really needed either.

In my opinion, both modes are good. I love the Single Player and I like the multiplayer. It's a must buy if you own the DS.

I haven't tried it online yet(been playing single player when I do go on the game) but my understanding is that it's really good. I've read the people at MLG talking about how the game is pretty well balanced and may be considered for next year's lineup :P
Although I hear Trace and that dude who drops the trip wires in his alt-form both see heavy use online.

I love this game. Its fun to play when theres nothing else to do. I espcially enjoy the mic talk. Its really cool.
