It looks like my new kitten is a classic gaming kitty. Check out this video clip of Olivia playing Galaga!

Contrary to rumors, she will not be giving a keynote speech at OVGE. LOL

That's really funny. You should make your cat an oversized joystick with button so she can show her skills.

She seems to be taking an awful lot of swipes at the player's ship.

Uh-oh, she may be on the aliens' side.

Watch out, PDF!

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, eh? Nice to see our four-footed friends showing an appreciation for the old school.

You should send that in to America's Funniest Videos or one of those idiotic shows. Cats acting weird are pure comedic gold. Additionally you'll be subtly spreading the gospel of retrogaming. Think about it.

Cool. Many years ago my friend had a cat who could play Super Mario Bros. If I remember correctly the farthest she ever got was past the first Goomba, which is pretty far for a cat.

HAHA! My cat does that too on top of my Galaga cocktail. I get to laughing so hard, I end up getting killed.

When it's off, he 'claims' it as his bed And jokingly, I turn it on, and when the ram test comes on, the exploision scares the crap out of him, and he flies 30 feet in the air. LOL

cats rule.

You make me want a cat again. All my dogs ever do is look at the screen, yawn, and go back to sleep. Lazy mutts.

Haha, I like the part a minute in where she starts batting at the player's ship, and it explodes LOL

Yeah, the timing of that was just great.

That's got to be the cutest damn thing I've ever seen. :) Makes me even more eager to see my kitties this summer. Someday I'm gonna have to get myself another kitten. :)

I thought she'd actually be pressing the buttons but that was still cute and enjoyable, nonetheless. LOL

She's just a kitten, give her time. :P She's already better at Galaga than I am, haha.

Rest assured, I'm already trying out other games with her. She wasn't too thrilled with Qix for some reason...

Hahaha!! That is great. When the ship exploded I was like, "Whoa! Look what the cat did!" LOL

Excellent cat, dude. Try playing a game with other cats in it.

My cat isn't too into pac-man for some reason.

I've never seen anyone enjoy Moon Cresta that much! LOL

It also looks like she got tired of waiting for the Mouse Trap boot screen. Don't blame her - that game takes forever to start up.

Haha so cute :) Looks like she got tired from the first round lol ;)

Holy crap, she went crazy over Moon Cresta. :) It was especially cute how her eyes darted back and forth watching the eaten ghost returning to the center box in Pac-Man.

LMAO. You gotta love cats.

My 9-month old Wyatt was climbing into my mess o' consoles (see pics on Room of Doom) on the bottom shelf of my entertainment center. I was getting ready to leave for work and I turned the TV and VCR off. I still heard the sound of a fan going and I'm like "What the fuck is on? I didn't leave anything on!" and I look down and the Dreamcast was on! My kitten turned the Dreamcast on, silly little Sega fanboy. :)

My boyfriend has a cat who had kittens almost 2 summers ago, and when they still had all 3 kittens in the house, one of them stepped on the controller just perfectly enough to save my boyfriend's brother's game. I can't remember which one it was, I think he said it was True Crime: Streets of LA for GC. As a side note to that story, 2 of those three kittens (one of which was the game-saver) was adopted by other families and the one they kept the named Kupo after the moogle catchphrase.

Both Wyatt and my other cat, 3-year old Sasha have a way with batting moving objects on screens. Very often, I'll be sitting here typing things into my blog or elsewhere and he gets all up in the monitor and follows as the letters appear on the screen and will follow the cursor wherever I moved it. Both of them will also stare at the TV, entranced. I've also had both of them attack my DS a couple of times. Sasha is starting to grow out of it because she's 3 and has seen all a cat can see on monitors so far, but Wyatt's not even a year yet so he's got a lot to learn. I turned on the fan in the computer room and the youngster has never seen a fan in his short life time so he sat in the hallway entranced at the oscillating fan. Also, when a phone rings, Sasha will stare at it intently and often runs right up to it to stare it down and sniff at it. She has yet to master answering it. I have to get my cats doing some more game-related cuteness. Too bad my parakeets are worthless, except for the fact that one is named Navi after the Ocarina of Time fairy.

Im not sure whats more disturbing. The overall cuteness of the theme here or..... the kitten chewing the crotch out of a shiny purple thong.....
Heh Heh..

She's not always playful. Sometimes she likes to wind down.

I see somebody's a fan of Japanese-style gardening, but with keys placed out evenly across the sand, instead of pebbles o_O

Cute kitten, though :D
